I don’t know what to say, feel like giving up on life. It’s just too hard, I can’t do this anymore, got nothing left to lose. I don’t know what to do, I am done.
Ever felt like that? Sad, depressed, lonely, betrayed, broken, dejected, like you’re just done with it all and can’t make it one more day?
I’ve tried and tried, there’s nothing left for me to do. I feel like giving up on everything. I can’t go on like this, I can’t take it anymore…
You feel like your last bit of energy is gone, you know you’ve done everything you could possibly do, and you just can’t make it one more day. You feel like your life is not worth anything, because no matter how hard you try, you end up empty-handed and feeling empty.
The emptiness grows, consumes you, takes you over… and the you that you used to know fades as the thought crosses your mine that there would be no point in taking one more breath. You ask yourself, “Why fight it?” You are so done with all of it.
This is the best news, ever
What the f=(# are you talking about? You *^#~* ^*%#(~’n *&#~(#*!
That’s good. Let it out. It’s okay… In your darkest moment its okay for you to express yourself in any way you want to. You’ve probably held in your feelings far too long.
So, you think there’s nothing to see here, no silver lining, no hope for a good outcome. Yu feel like this is it. It’s over, and you can’t just take one more step.
And I tell you, this is the best news ever.
You, your higher self, God, the angels, the universe is anxiously watching every move you make, right now, and cheering you on, just like you.
Just like me? I’m done.
Think about it… Right now, if you were not living your life, but reading about it in a novel… and you came to this part of the story:
The hero or heroine has done his/her very best. There is no doubt that the hero in this story has done the very best he/she could with what they had, and it comes to this. You have come to the end of this chapter and the person you’ve come to admire and feel like you can relate to is at the lowest point imaginable, feels like he/she can’t go on.
Holding the book in your hands, you can feel two-thirds of the book in your left-hand and one-third of the book in your right hand. Do you close the book, throw it in the trash and walk away?
No. You can’t wait to see what happens next! You turn the page. (Okay, maybe you check the table of contents, the page number count of the book, and then turn the page!)
You’re thinking to yourself, “Don’t give up. You can do this!” Just like your higher self is saying to you right now:
You Got This
Something so much better is waiting for you
It may be just beyond your reach, but I can see it from my vantage point. You’ve just got to hold on and keep going. You don’t even have to feel good about it, but it is there, waiting for you…
If you can only make it one more day.
That’s all I ask. Just one day, and then maybe another, but only one day at a time. Just keep moving.
And me? When I find myself there?
Yes, I too, find myself in my darkest hour, and have many times throughout the course of my life.
And now, when I feel like giving up, I don’t know what to say, like I just can’t do this anymore…
I know that something better – so much more incredibly better – is waiting for me, just beyond my reach. I can’t see it, but I know it’s there.
How do I know?
Because that’s the way it’s always been. Every time I’ve felt like cashing in my chips, and giving up because I was done, once and for all… For whatever reason delayed my checking-out, I made it one more day. And then another…
You know what happened: something so much better did come my way.
So, now when I find myself sinking into that place of darkness, I start looking around to see what I might be missing and using my desolate feeling as an indicator to look for ways to change my direction. In these moments I look for opportunities to do something I’ve never done before, be places that I wouldn’t have probably been before, because I know something amazing is waiting for me.
Just like the most amazing part of your life is waiting for you.
