It’s Your Fault Mom and Dad

When any of us are working with a client, we will use any effective means necessary, whatever will achieve the greatest measurable results in the least amount of time possible. One such method is to blame one’s parents for the client’s current circumstance. While this may seem a disservice to parenting and could potentially drive a chasm between the child/parent bond, the results make it all worth it.

When someone is in crisis, helping them overcome their most difficult challenges can be tackled by having an anchor, a base from which to launch their new more empowered approach to starting over.

In childhood, we are all victimized, traumatized, and programmed to be fearful. We learn about injustice, how to lie, and how to represent ourselves as “a good person” to others, even if we know this person is not who we really are. Our dreams are crushed, and we let others tell us what we should believe, do, how we should act, what we’re allowed to feel.

If you parented a child, even though it was no fault of yours, you were an active participant in the reprogramming and socialization of your son(s) and/or daughters(s) and assisted into transforming innocent and empowered children of God into subservient taxpayers. You didn’t know any better, and you were only doing the best you could do at the time, having fallen victim to the same programming in your youth.

It’s been going on for thousands of years, and no one would fault you for how you raised your child/children, that is, until now.

Your son or daughter is reaching out for help, and help is here for him or her, but unfortunately, you are the key, possibly the sacrificial lamb, which will usher in a better life for your offspring.

Many parents, and even I, would gladly take a bullet to help any of my children have a better life.

If your son or daughter is reaching out for help, try not to take it personally, as you are blamed for your son or daughter’s sense of incongruency. This dichotomy between what your child was brought to this life to do, and the way you participated in robbing them of their highest and best, would drive anyone to the brink.

For thousands of years, very few have awakened to the knowledge of having a higher calling in life. In the past, the socialization of our children was an effective way of controlling humanity en masse. That is, until now.

Your child is awakening, and the truth is, it’s not their fault they are they way they are, it’s yours, not yours alone, because all of society supports this programming, but you were the closest person to them in those most formative years.

You were the first person to deny your child’s divinity and assist in his or her reprogramming.

Your son or daughter did suffer the consequences of your parenting. While you are to blame, you are not at fault. Following the assignment of guilt, comes forgiveness and the realization that had your son or daughter lived your life, he or she would have done the very same thing(s) to his own son or daughter.

Your son or daughter may need to focus on the errors of your parenting to get through this crisis. There may be anger and hurt feelings, and rather than defend yourself and complicate things by trying to justify the past, the most honorable approach you could take is to assert your good intentions and take the heat, in effect falling on your own sword, for the benefit of your child.

You’re defending yourself or justifying your actions will only hinder or delay your child’s healing and advancement. Love your child, and let him or her act out in any way necessary to get a grip and move on. Try not to take it personally, just love your child now more than ever.

In this way, you can be there more for your child than you have ever been in the past, if you humble yourself and love him or her more than ever before.

Also, know this, your influence in your child’s life, even with all the mistakes you may have made, and the things that you could have done better if given the chance, were all a specialized part of making your child more powerful than he or she could have been without you.

So, bless your child, and these things will be realized as he or she grows beyond this crisis.

In this moment, by sacrificing your ego and silently focusing on the needs of your child right now, this is your chance to make right all the wrongs and help your son or daughter achieve his or her highest and best, live a better life, and make the world a better place.

God bless you and all that you do.

Hanging Out with Drunks

In an analogy in The Mastery of Love, don Miguel Ruiz relates an example of hanging out with drunks at a bar or party as a comparison of how most of us live life. You hang out with these people who are just like you, they are all numb and drunk, having a good time, and every once and a while someone breaks out in a vast drama, but for the most part, you and the rest of the group are smiling, laughing, enjoying yourself, the camaraderie and you’re happy hanging out with drunks.

Then, once you begin to awaken to a higher version of life and start seeing things as they really are, it’s like being the only sober person at the party. After you’ve become more aware about life in general and your own life, numbing yourself is no longer desired or necessary to help you get through this life.

You think this is all well and good, but you remember how fun it felt when you were hanging out with drunks, so you go out to spend the evening with your friends.

Only now, you’re not compelled to drink, and you are not drunk. From this vantage point, your experience of hanging out with drunks is very different. You see people numbing themselves because they are looking for ways to avoid the reality of living the life they lead. You see them all celebrating the fog they all share, and while they appear to be happy, there is no happiness in them.

After a while, they notice you are not drunk, you are not joining them in their drunken celebration of not having to deal with life, and they accuse you of having something wrong with you.

The drunks prefer you to drink and enjoy being drunk with them. When you fail to participate and turn down their offers to buy you a drink so that you can essentially be an active participant with the other drunks, they get paranoid about you, see you as an outsider.

The drunks feel your sobriety as a drain on the energy of the overall group, you’re a downer, spectator, spy, or judging them like a self-righteous goody two shoes, and while none of this is true, you don’t feel like you fit in with this group of people anymore.

You are less enthusiastic about hanging out with drunks. You don’t judge them or feel sorry for them (because that would be condescending). You realize we’re all doing the best we can with what we have, honor the time that you spent with this group as a necessary part of your journey, you love and bless them.

There comes a time when you start to look for other people to hang out with, people who are more resonate with your current frame of mind, people who do not feel the need to numb themselves and disassociate their connection to this life.

You keep your eyes open and aware enough to find people who are more like you with whom you can associate and socialize with.

Periodically, the drunks will notice your absence and seek you out to rejoin them in their drunkenness because they believe being drunk is an important part of life and they feel your lack of drunkenness is not good for you. They know how awful it would be for them to try to manage life without being drunk. Just the thought of it represents pain for them, so they want to save you by inviting you to come back.

All of this is perfectly normal and fine in all its awkwardness as you move from the day-to-day struggle for survival in everyday life, to enlightenment.

I Have A Bad Feeling About This

You know that feeling that you get just before something bad happens? You might think, “I have a bad feeling about this,” in a precognitive manner seconds before something goes awry.

Well, say, “Hello,” to your little inner guidance system, or intuition. The heart is the seat of intuition. It’s just not the fodder of artists and philosophers of old anymore, as science is finding this is true, and it’s just not Jedis from Star Wars who can sense these things enabling them to announce, “I have a bad feeling about this,” seconds before something unexpected takes place.

We all have it to varying degrees. Our cognitive central nervous system which is seated in the brain, if you are aware of it, can provide you a good three-second advance notice via a feeling (like Spiderman’s spidey-sense) to brace for something, which can be highly advantageous, especially in a potentially dangerous situation.

Three seconds of advanced notice and heightened awareness can make the difference between potential-loss and prolonged suffering, or even life and death.

What if you could increase your intuition awareness from 3 seconds to 7 seconds?

It would have a massive impact on the difference it would make the next time you utter those words,

“I have a bad feeling about this”

Due to the advanced scientific research being conducted on the human heart, we are now finding the heart’s possessing a central nervous system separate from the brain, and more high functioning than the brain with far more accuracy.

While the brain emits an energetic field which can be measured a few inches from a person’s head, the energy which is broadcast from the heart projects a peripheral information-rich energetic field which transmits electronically for feet in every direction, consciously immensely further.

When an unexpected event is about to take place, the heart is the first physical organ to respond, immediately sending impulses to the brain for interpretation. The heart signals an urgent need for heightened awareness to the brain a full 7 seconds, and it takes about four seconds for the brain to process and react to the heart’s communication.

The brain is so busy thinking and it has been trained to disregard the heart’s nervous system, and until now, the most educated humans disregarded the heart’s significance on the human contribution to the human body as simply a blood pump.

The question of whether you are,

Thinking with your head or your heart?

Has far more significance today than it did at any time in the past.

Heart and quantum science are discovering the heart as the new frontier in scientific advancement, and it appears the heart’s energetic connection to the source of all energies of life is not just the subject of fantasy or fiction anymore.

Things like psychic connections and communications, telekinesis, and the like, which have been regarded as either science fiction or secret government researched potential weaponizations are not as ridiculous an idea as we were previously led to believe, as much of science fiction is increasingly becoming science fact.

The issue of whether there was a grand conspiracy to cover up this knowledge is moot, the fact of the matter is that we the people are becoming more aware, and as more and more of us awaken to this knowledge, honoring and connecting more with our heart’s intuitive intuition and the vast energetic source and storehouse of infinite wisdom and possibilities, the world (and mankind as we know it) looks increasingly different as it evolves every second.

There is so much going on here that far exceeds a four-second advantage.

Where will you be focusing more of your energies?

In your head or on your heart?

How is that working for you?

What to Expect as You Awaken

Everyone’s individual awakening is separate from anyone else’s, so there is no need to compare the intricacies of the evolution of others – and keep in mind, this is not a competition – as your evolution is as individual as your DNA, probably more so. That said, there does appear to be similarities among those who are consciously allowing their evolution to take place.

Prior to awakening, a great deal of focus and energy is preoccupied with temporal things, the day to day frustrations and details of life as we find ourselves struggling to get by when our concerns are emotionally charged by the news and media as we worry about employment, interpersonal relationships, transportation, meal planning, home maintenance, raising the kids, caring for pets, and keeping up appearances.

1. Peaceful Perspective

As your awakening begins to expand and you begin to evolve, the immediacy and importance of day to day life decreases as your awareness is lifted to a higher perspective. Rather than seeing yourself lost to the struggle for survival, or a victim of life, you are able to find a sense of peace in an aerial perspective, seeing life as it is, and a more calm sense of awareness and allowance when you are able to view the big picture. From this vantage point you can see life as balanced and integrated as your life becomes more rich and fulfilling.

2. Tolerance

As you let go of things outside of your control and allow life to be as it is, without taking anything too personally, life takes on a different flavor. You don’t hold tight to personal expectations or rigid ideas of how things should be. Tolerance is the idea of allowing things to simply be. You have a growing sense that everyone has their own right to make their own way and see things from their own perspective, only expecting the same from others but understanding that few can accomplish this state of mind, and that’s okay, because after all aren’t we all only doing the best we can with what we have?

3. Abundance

When we are focused on struggle, all we can see is our competition for limited resources. As you awaken, you begin to realize resources are not as limited as we once believed. Once you start seeing things in life, circumstances, people, things and lifestyle as energy, you entertain the idea that by adjusting your energetic state or frequency, the details of life within your proximity simply match your personal vibration. You realize the better you feel, the better life goes for you. By finding the best feelings you raise your state to a frequency which attracts all the best things in life and you take an active role in manifesting your desires.

4. Love

As you awaken, love takes on a new paradigm that is unconditional. It takes time to move from the concept of the selfish type and style of love we learned to expect to unconditional love. It is an evolutionary process, moving from contractual expectations to a love that persists regardless of circumstance or the actions of anyone outside of you. You are becoming an unconditional lover, one who is compassionate and understanding of others, loving them regardless of the people (even those considered evildoers), their actions, beliefs or their imperfections. You have empathy for those who have yet to awaken, without requiring them to conform to any ideals you have.

5. Creativity

As you continue to do your own inner work, you will find an increase of intuition and creativity that allows you to pull ideas and make connections in ways that seem otherworldly. This is a natural aspect of allowing your connection to the source of all life to permeate your being, specifically your thoughts and feelings. You develop a sense of knowingness with an increased capacity to resolve uncomfortable situations, circumstances and challenges as they arise.

6. Everything Gets Better

You find a growing tendency to experience good luck and clever coincidences as more and more of life seems to be going your way. In fact, life is going your way because you are allowing yourself to flow with the current of life, rather than to fight or swim against it. You begin living the good life as onlookers think you are just lucky or living a charmed life, but you realize you are just finding your happiness within and avoiding negativity (including negative self thoughts), which brings your life a balanced goodness.

7. Wisdom

Your growing awareness of life, the laws that govern the universe and the specific role playing of the peoples who populate our planet, gives you an alternate perspective of life, its meaning and the condition of the world as it is. This awareness will have subtle, yet impactful affect on the growing consciousness of the world. You become a humble, yet powerful source of life and substance, often without saying a word (or very little, if anything at all). Your vibrational state affects the world around you in positive ways.

8. Nowness

You are seeing the value in the sense of nowness. You are less concerned about the things that went before as you increase your ability to live in and focus on the now. Less and less will you find yourself worrying about the past or hoping for a better future as you are increasingly living in the moment and enjoying all this life has to offer: Now.

You can start to allow your conscious evolution to take place now. Actually, now is all there is. Of course, much of these ideas will appear to be silly or inconsequential if you have not experienced it first-hand, and that’s okay.

May you experience all the good things in life that are waiting for you.

Break Away for Your New Life

“Shhh… Be quiet. I know what you’re thinking. There is something about life and what we’ve been led to believe that just does not appear to be true.”

Continue to think. Think for yourself. This is an early sign of awakening from society’s trance, as you consider that it might be time to break away for your new life.

You’ve been programmed to be a societal robot, everything you “know” or have been programmed to believe has been in an effort to keep our true consciousness from breaking through, yet if only for a moment, you have a deeper knowingness that something may be terribly amiss.

You have been told you have free will; free will to do what? Free will to act a certain way, to be raised by parents who cause you to have certain thought patterns, to be programmed by school teachers, to get a job, to exist and participate as a productive member of society?

You ponder, “What if I truly had free will? What are the possibilities?” And you wonder why you’ve been programmed to believe there are so many limitations? And you say to yourself,

“I want more than this.”

Fighting off the pre-programmed inner voices, you push through the psychological barrier and affirm,

“I am ready to make a stand and change my life, to have more love, money and happiness.”

Sure, you have the free will to do just that, or do you?

At the risk of being diagnosed with a personality disorder, you are beginning to see life as we know it from another perspective than that which is promoted as accepting things as they are. You’re becoming aware that you are surrounded by people and things that are programmed to beat you into submission if you dare challenge the status quo.

As you awareness increases, you can feel a vibrational shift. Your vibration, the frequency at which your whole self (mind, body and spirit) is attuned, is changing and you’re finding yourself tuning into a new way of thought, like changing from a radio station from the AM band, to one in FM, you are accessing different, new information and experiencing individual thought.

In this moment of clarity, you declare your rejection of poverty or acceptance on limitations which have been imposed on you by others, you are going to move forward and create your new life. You are cognizant of others who are brainwashed and reason you can avoid them or play along, just long enough to gain momentum toward a better life.

And if you’re like many of us, you find yourself in front of the television, computer, tablet or cell phone which almost immediately reduces your frequency to the drone of everyday life once again and before you know it hours have passed. Those fleeting thoughts are discounted and disregarded as a brief daydream/fantasy which left unbridled may have led to a psychotic breakout of individuality psychosis or, at the very least, delusions of grandeur as you allow yourself to resume your “real life” comfortably numb.

Where is the free will in that?

Not to worry. There will come another occasion to awaken, to become more aware. What will you do then?

If you are blessed with the clarity of thought you have everything that you need inside of you (and if not, it will be provided to you) if you choose to take action and change. Change your thoughts, the way you see others ad the world. You can change your routines, your interaction with all areas of life, how you respond and deal with circumstances and challenges, truly exercising the free will which you were endowed with.

And if you fall back into your old frequency of daily life, that’s okay, too. Because another opportunity will arise and your interest will be piqued once again, enabling you to choose to take the necessary action or steps toward your free will and new life. If it were not for these brief moments of clarity, you might not have the opportunity.

This opportunity offers you a chance to take responsibility for your own life, to exercise your free will, break away and create your world, separate from the pack.

All you need is to embrace your individuality, raise your vibration, take action and move on your intuition and intentions, resisting the pressure to fall back into the mob’s mentality and frequency.

Mid-life Metamorphosis

It’s an incredible place to find yourself among the center of the spectrum of your life. You can look back on a life lived with lessons learned undoubtedly you’ve seen your dreams diminish in the light of responsibility and you have loved and lost.

Somewhere among the timeline of your life you awaken from the trance of life and see your life as it is. You can review the events of your life from a bird’s eye view. From this vantage point you can review missed opportunities of all kinds and realize that there is plenty of life waiting for you in the remainder of your life. How will you live it in comparison?

This is the moment of mid-life awakening. You know there is more to life and as you realize you are a multidimensional being, you ready yourself to take your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual lives to the next level.

You being to ponder the meaning of life, asking the most meaningful question of all, “What contribution have I made?” Realizing that with plenty of life’s breath and a full heart beating within, you shift as you reposition for the remainder of your life, modifying the question,

“What contribution will I make?”

You start taking stock of your talents, skills, abilities and resources. Things you have taken for granted in the past. Your inventory piques your interest and you know you could do better, so you gear up and look for ways to increase your assets, hone your skills and grow into the next version of yourself, an empowered, enlightened new you.

You become more highly attuned to your capabilities and feel your body, like never before. You need this vessel to continue your work. You can feel your heart beat, the synapses firing in your brain, your muscles working, your skin as it wraps it all up. With a new sense of honor and respect for your body, you consider ways to enhance your physiology to better serve your new lease on life. While you may (or may have not) been concerned about your health and wellness in the past, now you have a new zeal for self-care, optimization and personal maintenance.

You’re not as concerned with the mere appearance of your human vessel, like others amidst a mid-life crisis to merely to vainly maintain their youthful looks by visually enhancing via cosmetic surgery. No, you’re looking deeper into your health and wellness, not just looking at the exterior visual but what makes you tick, the secrets hidden inside your body, all the way down to your DNA.

What about your connection to the source? The energy that creates and sustains life, enabling us to perceive, perform and seek to find and realize a better life for yourself, your children, your children’s children as you seek to add value to your life and that of your community and the world at large.

None of this – none of it – you, your life ‘til now, the new and improved you that will volley into the future with a new zeal and sincere desire to live a better life, your best life and make the world a better place would be possible without this energy. How will you honor your connection to source and use it to increase your effectiveness as you create new possibilities and probabilities.

It’s time to make so many adjustments, to envision your new life and start planning to execute your new life and manifest those things you see in your mind’s eye, to see your hopes and dreams realized and brought to life in your world.

You know what you want, what you don’t want. You are delineating your ideas, dreams and desires and creating a map; a map that depicts where you are and where you want to be, with good ideas on how to get from here to there. And as you do this work, and continue to do this work, the path becomes more and more clear, as it is revealed to you and you take action to move forward in faith.

Your desire to grow, change and contribute is undeniable as you become more cognizant of your purpose and mission in life with an unparalleled coherence for your new journey that lies ahead. You’re ready to accept the challenge, evaluating each area of your life from career to friendships. This is a clear demarcation in your life with a distinct before and after. You’re okay with and honor the past while not letting it get in the way of your bright future. You develop ways to express yourself in truth in ways that don’t hurt yourself, others or things.

Can you dreams come true? Have they ever come true for others? If they have, what is true for anyone is true for you. All you have to do is to embrace all that you have been given, as everything you need to bring it to pass is either within you, or available to you. It’s up to you to make it happen.

As you readjust for this massive transformation, some may refer to your condition as a mid-life crisis because others who have not awakened cannot imagine you at such a juncture, welcoming your metamorphosis. You bless the nay sayers, in hopes that one day they, too, will see the light. If not, you love them nonetheless because you realize that we are all only doing the best we can with what we have.

You can do this.

You Are the Best

The least we can ever expect of ourselves and the most we could ever expect from anyone else is the idea that we are all doing the best we can with what we have. After all, we’re all in this life together, each of us doing the best we can and you are the best you can be.

One can’t help but look around and notice that some people seem to be doing a little better with their share than others. Aren’t we all born with the same inalienable rights? Most of us are fortunate to have the same number of limbs, fingers and toes. We all have the same potential for achieving our highest and best, yet for some it appears to be easier to achieve goals than others.

Any of us, regardless of family, fortune, sense of entitlement – or the lack thereof – can at any moment decide to live a better life. A life focused on maximizing our individual potential and achieving heightened states of satisfaction, well being, love and happiness.

If you choose to, you can be one of the growing numbers of individuals taking action to make their lives better and even affect our communities and the world at large in a positive way. If you’re one of us, you’re mindful about what the future holds while taking the steps necessary to protect, preserve and enhance the life you are living each day, living your life on your own terms.

While making your own way is your primary motivation, you honor those who have gone before and are making their own way at the same time. Respectfully admiring others who are also making progress along the way (those who may be steps or miles ahead of you) without jealousy raises your personal vibration, allowing you to make better progress in less time.

This is why we monitor and celebrate the successes of others achieving their highest any best. Not just because it encourages them to achieve even more, but it also impacts the way we see our potential increasing before our very eyes. And if we’re listening closely, we may even discover insights from others, making our individual journeys more efficient, less prone to the missteps of others who have preceded us on the path to whatever we desire to achieve.

Hidden deep within the recess of your heart is everything you need to achieve your highest and best, and if you listen, you can hear its harkening to you, encouraging you, taunting you, daring you to take the challenge of breaking away from the mediocre and mundane to launch toward the massively magnificent future that waits just beyond the veil; the veil that society has tried to hardwire within you to keep you from seeing the possibilities, the gifts and treasures that were meant for you to enjoy fully.

As you listen, this still small voice grows and becomes more reasonable as you consider this may be the life that you had intended to live from the beginning and you ponder the idea that your life may have meaning and purpose… and yes, you do; if you only knew.

So, you take action. A step – possibly a very small step – or a succession of steps and you begin to feel like. “Yes, this is really possible.” You keep moving. And you may even challenge yourself by setting a goal. It could be any goal, lose five pounds, make the bed, take a shower every day, or save twenty dollars a week, etc. It doesn’t really matter, you set a goal (whatever it is) and you achieve it.

How empowering!

You realize – in real time – that you are the master of your fate. If you could set one simple goal and see it through to completion, you come to the realization that you are the creator of your own life. You no longer have to reside yourself to just being a cog in the machine of life, you are beginning to understand you are in control, as your life’s purpose is beckoning you to grasp firmly and keep advancing.

You already know what it’s like to live a life devoid of meaning or purpose. Life loses its flavor, relationships are acceptable pieces of a mediocre life and nothing seems to satisfy any desire for accomplishment. You start to feel as though nothing good could come from your professional endeavors – no matter how hard you try – or from interpersonal relationships. Little turns out like you planned and even if it did, it just doesn’t seem to be all you thought it should have been. Any reward for your life’s accomplishment(s) just do not hold the shine that you expected and you ask yourself, “Is this all there is?”

Not to worry, it’s not your fault. Even though society doesn’t want you to realize it, you’re considering the truth of the matter. Your life – the life you live every day with all its qualities, challenges and confusion – is a direct result of the vibration of your projected energy field which is energized by your thought process. This electromagnetic field attracts the life that is a perfect match to your personal vibration.

The good news is you can change your vibration by changing your thoughts, thereby attracting a completely different kind of life.

This is the basis of the awakening which permeates the societal underground as one by one we start to understand there is so much more to this life than we were led to believe. You are realizing the whole, “get a good education so you can get a good job, married, a mortgage, raise a family, retire and enjoy your golden years” thing is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Now you’re coming around to the understanding of finding and following your life’s purpose is not only satisfying but so enjoyable as you align your life for a more significant and meaningful life, where each day is full of exciting opportunities to advance even further as you gravitate toward all the good things this life has to offer.

You’re not settling for second best or allowing anyone else to dictate the life you will live, and you understand that everyone else is, like you, only doing the best they can with what they have. You don’t need them to follow you along your path as you encourage them to find their own way, enjoy the moments (if any) where your paths intersect along the way.

Life is not a destination but a journey; your journey.

Listen to your heart, it will guide you along the way as you embrace your purpose and sing your song, enjoying a far more satisfying life and making the world a better place.

You Are Not Your Job

In our society, often we tend to categorize people by what they do. Someone, somewhere, propagated the idea that we all can be defined by what jobs we hold in our local communities.

You are not your job there is more to life someone call a handyman
Someone call a handyman? There may be more to this man than meets the eye…

How do you feel when someone meets you for the first time and asks you what you do for a living?

Do you think people make certain assumptions about you based on your occupation?

Even though throughout the course of my life I have maintained and sustained my life’s mission of helping people achieve their highest and best, I have performed different kinds of work. Some of the work I have been involved in was more a representation of the larger portion of my personality, otherwise not.

Let’s say you meet me while I am a bartender. You might attempt to categorize (or analyze) me based on me performing this particular function in the community. I suspect that most (if not all) of the assumptions that you might have about the type of person a bartender is couldn’t be further from the truth. I have never been a bartender, but who knows; in many ways, I’ve thought being a bartender would be an interesting in many ways.

At times in my life, I have been active in more than one occupation at a time.

Just like you cannot judge a book by its cover, you cannot determine what kind of person someone is based on their job.

On the other hand, a lot of people tend to take on the characteristics of their profession and do define themselves by their occupation(s). I periodically encounter these people at some point when they begin to realize there must be more to life than their job.

Society has nurtured us to believe that we are here for a purpose. This system would like us to believe that our function in this life is to perform a particular function that perpetuates the living machine, as we are programmed to believe the best we could hope for in life is to get a good education and a high paying job. In the event education is unattainable, we should happy to do the best we can with a lower-paying job and find ways to live on less than we had hoped for.

And, of course, no matter where we are on the income scale, we must have stuff. The more money we make, the nicer stuff we can have. If we want to gain the admiration of our peers, we will get cars, houses or other stuff that might be considered beyond our means… this makes us feel good (for a while).

You may ask yourself,
If I’m not my job, who am I?

There’s a good chance if you haven’t gotten around to that question long ago, its occurring to you now. Why? Because there’s a growing awakening taking place within our society as people are starting to question everything we’ve been programmed to think of ourselves and the parts we play in our communities and interact with the greater community.

We are starting to discover that there is more to this life. As we continue to awaken, we start to realize we have been suppressed and purposely dumbed-down in an attempt to embrace a life of slavery, working for the man, while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. To keep us from breaking out of this imposed trance we are to believe is all there is to life we are bombarded by data, information and interrupted via media and mob mentality to keep us in a state of fear, keeping us locked-in to the societal construct.

If you are asking, “Who am I?” it is time to begin looking inside to find out and embrace your life’s purpose. Find your own individual message, soundtrack and Sing Your Song.

Awakening There is More to This Life

Every moment of every day someone wakes up from the sleepwalking daily routine we call life, and in that moment of clarity recognizes that something’s not right.

Remember being asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up,” when you were a youngster?

Ever notice how your answer changed as you grew older? Chances are, when you were younger, you were more optimistic and fanciful about your future… (Most likely) by the time you were ready to finish school, your dreams had been reduced to feeling as though the only hope in life for a glimmer of happiness was to:

Go to college to
Get a Good Job
End of story.

Did you know when you were born, your life had meaning? You came into being with a message and a special purpose. As you began to communicate and articulate your thoughts, you doubtless knew what your message would be and what your life’s purpose was.

In your younger years, you would do things that were congruent with your message and purpose and it would amaze those who witnessed you exercising your gifts, but as you aged the same people who encouraged you in your youth by saying, “That’s amazing,” were now chanting, “but you need to forget all that and think about getting a good job.”

Slowly, but surely, your mission (your message and purpose) was quashed (regarded as fanciful childlike dreams that would never come true) as you were groomed to be nothing more than a cog in the machine of life. You felt like denying your true calling was a good thing, in an effort to find a place to fit in society and survive with little impact, as the inner voices that were beckoning you to fulfill your mission faded away and were lulled to sleep.

Awakening there is more to this life than this purpose message mission meaning

The Awakening

Then, at some point in life, there is an awakening. That moment when you look in the mirror and say,

Who Am I?
How did I get here?

Surveying your surroundings of the life you’ve succumbed to, you say to yourself,

There must be more to my life than this.

This is the heart (which always holds the key to your highest and best) breaking through to communicate with your brain (which has been reprogrammed to protect you from your heart). Your heart will make the best of the life you allow, but true fulfillment and heart-felt satisfaction can only be realized when you are living in harmony with your mission, until then, there will always be a degree of dissatisfaction or longing for something more.

This awareness (even if in brief moments of clarity) will alert your consciousness that something’s got to change. Then you have to make a choice:

Recoil or Reposition

You can second-guess, let the haunting voices of the nay Sayers overcome you or talk yourself out of taking action, recoil and continue to block yourself from you mission, or you can begin to reposition yourself for something new, readying yourself to take action and find the answer to

What is my mission?
How do I start?

It is at this point in the awakening process that people are attracted to me (and others in similar fields) for assistance in finding purpose, increased quality of life (including health and wealth) and help achieving your highest and best.

The more open you are, the less assistance you need; you don’t need anyone’s help, if you can remember back to your childhood – or already have an intuitive knowing – recalling your message and purpose. Then, you can…

Take Action

You owe it to yourself to take action every day – no matter how small – to engage your purpose, to share your message. As you begin to embrace who you truly are (not the mediocrity society has come to expect from you) you will find, see and make new opportunities to exercise your gifts and talents to maximize your mission.

Resonate and Celebrate

This is the satisfaction that I receive in my line of work, to be there in the moment, to celebrate with a client who is resonating with their true sense of empowerment in aligning their lives with their calling. It just doesn’t get any better than that!

Of course, this is MY calling, helping people achieve their highest and best, so little could be so thrilling. (See, it affects me the same way.)

Congratulations!
You’re YOU is coming through
