I Want to Do Something with My Life

Many people spend the majority of their life not knowing who they are, not realizing they came to this planet with a divine assignment. I have been so blessed to have had an awareness of my unique and solid purpose, message, passion, and mission which has led me on an incredible journey as I have been answering my call to help people achieve their highest and best since high school.

No matter what twists and turns were there in my life, I stayed congruent with my sacred calling, which takes on different forms from time to time, but always boils down to the original underlying theme of helping people achieve their highest and best.

In doing so, I attract people to work with who have come to the point in their life where they are saying,

I Want to Do Something with My Life

When I meet people who want to work with me (and many call on me due to my specific skillsets and special abilities) it is incumbent upon me to be responsible to my calling when approached by someone who may not be a good match for my area of ministry.

While I talk to or enter into an exchange with someone, I am listening for those keywords that resonate with my calling. Invariably the words and phrases they use are similar to, if not precisely,

I Want to Do Something with My Life

Which is not to be confused with, “I need help with my life,” or, “I don’t know who I am,” or even, “I want a better life.” While these are issues and patterns that show up when I am working with my clients (which could include any challenges one might face in life along the way) the key component I am looking for is that of doingness.

It is not enough to want something, you must actually be willing to do something about what you want. If you are willing to do the work, then let’s roll up our sleeves and do this thing together, and I will march alongside you in lockstep fashion to help you achieve your highest and best, whatever that might mean for you.

Regardless of your age, color, or creed, there is something inside you that yearns for expression, making a contribution to the local community, the community at large, or the world. Considering your own mortality, you might like to leave behind something, proof you were here, that your life had meaning.

We are so blessed to be able to have lived this life, it just doesn’t seem right to take it for granted and not want to leave something behind, something that could possibly make the world a better place is some (even if small) way.

Ever wonder why you feel this urge?

It’s because you came to this world with a calling, a purpose, message, passion, and mission specifically fashioned for you and your life. And you knew exactly what it was, what you were sent here to do, from the moment you were able to think. Now, later in life, you still feel the calling, but you can’t figure out why, and you ask, “If I have such a calling,”

Why don’t I know?

Unfortunately, society and social programming (including parents, other family members, friends, teachers, role models, mentors, the government, and the legal system) has programmed you not to wonder about such things, and if you do… well, that would just be too silly or nonsensical to even dignify with any logical response.

Still, as human beings continue to evolve and the lifeforce inside us continues to grow and emerge, the social programming is becoming less effective. Not a problem for the powers who want to keep you from evolving, their tactic to prevent your evolution is to flood your mind with so much entertainment, information, news, and data, that you couldn’t possibly have time nor the attention to have an original thought, let alone to get in touch with that inner, most sacred, part of you which longs to commune with you, see your life come to fruition, and have meaning.

You’re too busy.

You don’t have the time, nor the resources to even conceive of such a thing as to look for your life having meaning. What it is is what it is, and that must suffice. You lived a good life, you were not a bad person, and you did the best you could with what you have, and God bless you for that.

Still, you can hear the second hand on the clock ticking and wondering if there’s something more… There’s that still small voice calling… and unfortunately, you don’t know when you will no longer have the chance.

A dear friend and former mentor came to me and said,

I Want to Do Something with My Life

This is someone I’d looked up to admired throughout much of my life, as we worked together in the ministry right out of high school. He had a wonderful life, a successful business, and he was revered as an expert by many, still, he felt as though something was missing. So, with my help, we set out to have him write and publish a book.

I was holding his freshly finished manuscript in my hands when I received the call that he had passed away.

You never know when your time is going to run out. We all leave something behind, and we will continue to live in the memories of the people whose lives we have touched, and we may leave our mark on social media, or in other ways when our time has come.

You might even be honored as a hero in memoriam, like Aaron, who left us from his post in Afghanistan at a mere twenty-years-old. He left behind hundreds of people who knew and adored him, as well as some of his adventures as documented on social media and the Internet. We didn’t know, he didn’t know, no one really knows, until the time has come.

The fact remains, if there is still breath in you, there is still hope that you can discover, connect, and fulfill your purpose, message, passion, and mission, if you dare.

According to the legal community, “If it isn’t documented, it didn’t happen.” Shouldn’t your life be documented?

Think about it…

Could you have lived the life you have lived, if it wasn’t for the benefit of others?

No. Every breath you’ve taken, every step you have taken, has led you to this point in time, and if you are ready, you are saying with the rest of us,

I Want to Do Something with My Life

What will you do about it?

You Are the Center of the Universe

You are the center of the universe. Everything that you see, touch, taste, hear and smell, the rocks, the bugs, the birds all the creatures of the earth, from every atom to every star, the vast expanse of space, all the galaxies in the universe and all the life that is out there; all here for you, and without you would not one fragment of any of it exist.

You are the center of the universe
You are the center of the universe

For you, you are the observer and as the center of the universe nothing can be known without your witnessing, experiencing, considering or contemplating anything. Do you know it all? No. But do you sometimes feel like you do? Yes. And in that moment you know all that can be known in that time and space.

As you are open about all the possibilities which may exist in your universe, the universe tends to unfold, revealing more and more of itself to you in ways you may not have previously been able to imagine. The more you are open, the more information is vectored and attracted to your conscious, like a magnet, peeling back the layers of the façade which you previously considered was all there could be.

When you were younger, it was easy to wrap your mind around the idea of life being simple, uncomplicated, certainly not without its struggles or challenges, then one day t he light goes on; and you get a glimpse of what else is out there.

It is in that moment that you rise above the crowd, even for the briefest moment, to see… and you get the idea that maybe things are not as they appear. Things that you once highly regarded as truth, and may have been willing to fight or risk your life defending may not be real at all.

If you are able to resist the temptation to sink back into your place in the crowd, you remain open, and your consciousness expands and you begin to realize that you are the center of the universe. All of this, every part of existence and the hidden treasures of the mysteries which reveal themselves to you, do so because of you. If it weren’t for you, none of this could be known, and none of this would exist.

Then you slap your forehead (or someone else does) in hopes that you’ll snap out of it and go back to living the less complicated life as just another one of them. You might even try going backwards, and while some of us find ways to blend back into the herd of humanity, we know we are only living out our lives in stealth mode, because no one knows better than you that this is not all there is.

The world is full of activities, attention-grabbers, distractions, things that make you feel good for a moment, and things that make you feel bad, stress and strain in the struggle for survival amidst the herd. In fact, there is so much activity going on all around you 24/7 it’s a wonder you got to get a glimpse outside the maze even for a brief second at all. But you did.

But, you say, what about all the other people? They are all here just to support your universal experience. Each person, and any other material object and all that is immaterial, is all here for you and your unfolding life experience.

Sounds a little narcissistic, right?

Don’t bother with the inclination to align yourself with labels. Those labels are only for the sheep who allow themselves to be branded by them. You may have been one of them, but not anymore. (Not that you couldn’t find ways to comingle with them, for after all, they are only here for your amusement, enjoyment, understanding and growth.

You, your eyes, are the eyes of God in the center of the universe, experiencing all that can be from your unique perspective and vantage point. All of this is for you and you alone. Without you, none of this would exist.

But (here you go again),

“What about him? What about her?”

He or she is the center of his or her universe as well.

“What?”

And you start to consider that these words were all in vain, for if I were the center of the universe, all of this is for me, for me only, and none of this would exist without me, then how can that apply to anyone else; that’s contradictory.

All the secrets of the universe appear to be incongruent with herd mentality. This feeling has been programmed into you since your birth, and the feeling that higher concepts couldn’t possibly be right is proof that the programming was successful, but it does not have to be a life-sentence. You can break free from the societal prison of your mind and embrace all that you could be and experience in this life, if you choose.

Is it easy? No.

But if you’re wondering what’s outside the box, maybe it’s time to take a peek?

There is so much authentic, meaningful life and amazing treasures waiting for you outside the box, and all of this was your birthright, which was snatched from you by society at birth.

Are you ready to take back you’re God-given-right to live a better life, your best life, and make the world a better place?

Don’t even think about it, unless you’ve got what it takes…

And you do.

Oh, yes, you do.

Meaning of Life

The types of people who are attracted to work with me are a particular breed of awakening individuals. They have come to a point in their life where they notice that things aren’t always what they seem. While they begin to question life, the media and social structure they begin to realize that there must be more to this life than this.

If you’re waking up, you are not satisfied with how your life is going. You understand that working eight hours a day, five days a week, until a certain age, and then kicking back and allowing yourself to increase consumption of corporate medical resources while you deteriorate so as to not consume unnecessary resources is no longer going to work for you.

my life meaning of life purpose driven life how to change your life

These awakening seekers are looking for a greater meaning in life, which has them asking

What is the purpose of life?

To look around observing the magnificence of our planet and its place in the solar system, at some point each of us have a moment where we begin to ask why? Why are we here? Are we really only high functioning ants, working, working, working, or like busy bees, buzzing around ad infinitum, until we are unable to keep up?

The Greatest Conspiracy is that you (all of us) are manipulated into believing this is all there is. If we were to awaken, realizing and embracing our individualities, we would be impossible to manage. So there are those who use an incredible amount of resources to keep us in darkness, comfortably numb and overwhelmed with activity and data enough to keep us distracted and not inquisitive.

God forbid you realize that you came to this planet with select gifts, a unique set of skills, a mission and personal message to share with the greater community that will help move us as a people and planet into, through and beyond our continued evolution. This is your purpose. Living your purpose driven life is what gives meaning to life.

What is my purpose?

When you were very young, you were in perfect alignment with your life’s purpose. You were aware of your personal mission, unique message and were likely functioning in coherence with your life purpose. But your uniqueness was downplayed as you were reprogrammed by family, society and media to become a more manageable being. You must be restricted and not allowed to be individually unique, and in recent years, patented drugs have been created that will help to make us even more manageable earlier in life.

In most cases, later in life, if an adult can remember what they were complimented on very early in life (before the age of seven), this can hold the keys to your life’s purpose.

Others, who have been blessed enough to retain a certain level of intuition or innate spirituality, have a sense of vibratory maintenance. These people recognize and feel the energy vibration of different thoughts and activities. In it’s simplest form, the thoughts and activities that make you feel good, bring high levels of satisfaction and fulfillment to you are clearly a congruent vibrational match to your life’s purpose.

What do I want to do with my life?

Now that you are awakening spiritually, becoming more aware that there is more to this life, and you are finding purpose in life, either you will allow others around you to thwart your epiphany and push you back into the dark abyss of meaningless life, or you rise to the occasion and begin to figure out what you want to do with your life now that you are more aware.

Start making a list of the things that make you feel good and bring a sense of meaningfulness, making a positive impact on the greater community an sharing your message. If you think about it, the many experiences that you have lived through, have uniquely prepared you to deliver an inspiring message to others. What are you going to do about it?
