About the Author
David M. Masters brings over twenty-five years of experience as a coach, specializing in helping individuals who have endured exploitation by psychopaths. His journey into this realm of expertise stems not only from his own personal experiences but also from the insights he has gained through his work with other victims of psychopathic manipulation.
Initially a Christian counselor, Masters once believed in the universal potential for human goodness and redemption. His faith was grounded in the idea that everyone, regardless of their past, had the capacity for salvation. However, his perspective shifted after encountering the reality of psychopaths—individuals who are biologically and psychologically hardwired to exploit others without remorse or empathy. Through this realization, Masters recognized that these relentless predators can exist in all walks of life, fundamentally challenging his earlier beliefs about human nature.
Today, David resides in the Pacific Northwest, where he enjoys quality time with his grandchildren, indulging in the scenic beauty of Washington State. He continues his work as an Olympian Life Coach, where he guides people through complex life challenges, particularly those related to psychopathy. Masters also serves as an instructor at St. Paul’s Free University, teaching a variety of specialties, including helping others support and empower victims of psychopathic abuse.
