What You Do Today Determines Who You Will Be

You are the most powerful person in your world today. What you do today determines who you will be. Your choices today have a huge impact on your future. You are creating the path of your life based on your thoughts, the words you speak, and what you do.

What You Do Today Determines Who You Will Be

Gandhi
Gandhi

You already know the best predictor of future events is what happened in the past. What happened today has the greatest, most relevant, impact on what lies ahead, because it could shift the entire future. As Gandhi has said, “The future depends on what you do today.”

What You Think, Say, and Do

Your thoughts are so powerful, they are what you spend most of your waking hours doing, and their effect on your life is immeasurable. Largely, the world influences what you spend your waking hours thinking about.

Change Your Thinking

Consider this; if you could change what you think about, you can change your life for the better.

This is the most impactful action you can take is to start at the biological root of your life’s energy systems. The more attention you pay to your thoughts, you can take action to immediately (or as soon as possible) choose a new thought, replacing a negative thought with something very positive.

Change Your Words

Your words are an expression of your thoughts that run so deep. Your thoughts are based on impulses you are exposed to every moment of every day and hugely influenced by every moment you have lived to now.

The words you speak are very powerful, and your voice box is the doorway to your heart. A negative thought influences your biology and your life greatly but speaking of the negativity opens the pathway to your heart, where it can affect your entire being and the life that surrounds you.

Making a conscious effort to guard your words, consciously deciding what words you will speak, will change your life accordingly. Talk about the good things you want in life and do not dwell (think too much) about the negative things in life, those things over which you have no control.

Change What You Do

When you take any action on something you think about or based on some influential ideology, whatever you do takes time. Time is a good measurement of all things. If you are doing anything that is not in alignment with the future that you desire for yourself, you will be miles ahead in having the life you want by finding ways to spend less time doing the things that do not serve the future you would like to see for yourself (possibly eliminating them altogether if you can) and doing more of the things (ideally only the things) that will direct your path to live a better life, your best life, and make the world a better place.

Today, what you think, what you say, what you do, determines who you are tomorrow. The good news is, today is a new day.

How You Do It

T. Harve Eker

It’s not only about what you do, but also about how you do a thing. T. Harv Eker has coined the phrase, “How you do anything is how you do everything.”

As you become aware of the things you think, say, and do, you might find yourself learning how you do things. Certainly, there are things that you do in your life that you could do better. If you work for a company or any organization, management is not only looking at what you are doing but how you are doing it. Skilled managers are looking at how the staff handles various tasks are and always looking for ways that they could increase their performance.

You might want to think about applying this strategy to your life as well. Look at the way you are doing the things in your life.

Review

Before you turn in at night, or throughout the day, try to evaluate the things you do from an external perspective and ask yourself, “Could I have done that better?” Then ask yourself, “How could I do that better the next time?” Allowing for the possibility of not doing a thing.

If some action is not serving your higher purpose in life, yet it must be done, think about delegating the task to someone else to whom it is better suited, delegate it, outsource it, or eliminate it if possible, replacing it with a task that will draw you closer to your desired life, thereby maximizing your potential.

Your Choices = Your Future

Those things that you choose to think, say, and do today

Dr. Tim Madding says,

Tim Madding

It’s known as the principle of the path. The path you take today will lead you to a destination later. You should never be surprised where you end up since it is based on a series of decisions made.

“Why am I in so much debt?”

Because you purchased stuff you have chosen that you could not afford.

“Why is my marriage so horrible?”

Because you chose to marry someone you didn’t know and chose not to develop relationship goals to overcome differences.

“Why am I getting divorced?”

Because you chose to flirt with that woman at the office, then go out of your way to see her, then started hanging out and then started sleeping together.

Today what you think, what you say, and what you do determines who you are tomorrow, and you can change your future based on how you do this day.

What are you thinking?

What words are you using?

What are you doing?

I Want to Change But I Don’t Know How

Change is inevitable. No matter how hard you try to manage and control your world, it is constantly in a stage of metamorphosis. Life, our planet, the universe is ever-changing. So, what will you do about it? Will you resist the change or choose to change? Many people want to change, but do not know how to go about changing their life. They say,

I want to change but I don’t know how.

Of course, there are the vast majority of people who accept life as it is, and they find comfort in the sameness in life, staying as they are, and accepting whatever comes their way as inevitable. Most, if not all of us, are programmed from birth to adopt this (or some similar) world view.

We keep our heads down, keep moving along, and we’re all doing the best we can with what we have, not to make waves or draw attention to ourselves.

Things could be better, but

I’m okay.

Even so, among those who prefer to stay under the radar, many of them desire to have a better life. For those who desire to have a better life than their neighbors, social mechanisms have been put in place to make them feel like they can have some control over their destiny, while still remaining as part of the structured herd.

They can increase their efficacy via personal or professional growth, go to school to learn a trade, get a fancy degree to join the ranks others who have highfalutin college degrees, if they will let you into their “club.” It’s a lot more convoluted than you might think.

Others like the idea of change but see it as something to be avoided due to increased risk. They could put life as they know it at risk. By deciding to change, you may alienate friends who would rather stay the same and never change, except when change is forced upon them.

The idea of change makes us somewhat fearful because we all have some degree of

Fear of the unknown

and we feel safe in our little cocoons of life, swaddling ourselves in as snuggly as possible.

The world outside of ourselves can be a frightening place.

Then there are those who find themselves in the offices of my contemporaries who are coaches, consultants, and counselors. These are those who want to change their lives in a dramatic way.

Like you, they are dissatisfied with the same ol’ same ol’ and they have a yearning for more from this life.

You want to live a better life, your best life, and make the world a better place, even if

You don’t know how

Maybe you tried to change before, and it didn’t stick, or you just couldn’t get from Pont A to Point B. You may have been unable to achieve the results you desired. Don’t let this get you down or keep you from moving forward.

Knowing how to change your life is not necessary. The desire to change your life is the most important place to start, for without the desire to change, you are unlikely to have the fortitude necessary to sustain the transformative process and make it to the other side of your personal metamorphosis.

If your desire is strong enough, you can endure the expansive evolutionary opportunities which are often accompanied by challenges that will be encountered along your path of growth and change.

Extra Time On Your Hands

What will you do when you find yourself with extra time on your hands? Will you catch up on playing games? Search and peruse the Internet to your heart’s content? Binge-watch everything you may have missed in the last ten years on Netflix? Or will you take this time to evolve?

This is a unique opportunity to do something that you never had the time to do before. You know, all those things that you said, “If I just had a few more hours a day,” or thought, “I could do so much more with the hours that I waste commuting.”

So, here you are, unless you are essential, you have found yourself with extra time on your hands. What will you do with it?

I can tell you what I see. I see people taking advantage of this downtime growing and expanding. People, like you and me, are spending this time in personal exploration and expansion. So, when the cloud rises from this unprecedented time, these individuals will emerge fully empowered and vastly different from what they were at the beginning of the lockdown.

There are many of us who will emerge having made hugely divergent career changes. Other changes will include increased health, wellness, and longevity. Some will come out as new business owners, and other sill grow and expand in spirituality with hearts overflowing with love.

I know this is on contrast to what you see in the media because all they are doing is presenting the worst of the worst, all the chaos, all the tragic news, all the fighting each other and further separation of each of us, all the pain, destruction, and dysfunction.

But what you are unaware of (because you are prevented from seeing it) is what is going on the scenes. And what is going on behind the scenes is massive on the political and the underlying energetic side which seeks to control all if us, and on the unlimited power of unconditional love that promotes the evolution of the human race, is hidden from your awareness, unless you are an active participant in what is going on behind the scenes.

There is an underground movement of spiritual awakening that is taking place, while the world is focused on all the chaos that is being promoted, exaggerated, and designed to cause us to panic, get angry, and focusing our attention on fighting by the media. We are angry and we are compelled to fight for our rights, fight for justice, fight for freedom, fight for independence, the call of the hypnotic media is to lull you into this angry state, enough to encourage you to “Make a stand.” To stand and be willing to fight for what is right.

This is a year that massive change will be pervasive and the whole Earth is evolving. Our planet is shifting into a healthy state, and for those who are taking a positive approach to this evolutionary expansion opportunity, they are changing and becoming more healthy and powerful, while basking in light and love, while the rest of the planet struggles against the darkness.

The underlying forces that rule the lands which we inhabit have their own agendas that they are aggressively promoting, the reward for doing so is knowing that if they can keep the population distracted by the conflict, they will never have the peace of mind to see what is awakening under the surface of all the chaos.

Yet, the evolution is taking place, in the now.

What about you?

Will you take this extra time on your hands to turn off the TV, unplug from the Internet and negative news, and take the time to look inside and contemplate the mysteries of your unlimited possibilities?

Ready to Change Your Life

Disillusioned much lately? Feeling like your life is not going the way you’d imagined it would? Think you’re unable to trust those who have influenced what you’ve come to know or believe? Now, you are ready to change your life. How do you go about making this massive change?

If you believe that this dawning of your evolutional metamorphosis will be your embracing your highest and best, before you go about changing your life, you need to feel confident about and have a resonant inner knowing about who you are. Who you really are. The person you were meant to be when you first entered this life.

When you first arrived you knew who you were, your divine nature, your powerful special abilities which would assist your ability to achieve your highest and best, help others, and make an important contribution in making the world a better place.

Unfortunately, “the system,” the people and forces that profit from people, just like you and me, who fail to embrace their purpose, message, passion, and mission, they have seen to it, that any ideas you might have had about achieving your highest and best were wiped out by the constructs which they have created.

They offer instead, a concept of life which represents doing the right thing. And this doing the right thing includes being an obedient, subservient person who follows “the rules” (their imposed rules) for which you are rewarded with the ability to be a “productive member of society.”

This is the greatest conspiracy, where the whole world conspires to keep you (all of us) dumbed down and basically blindly accepting a life of slavery in exchange for the reward of being able to have a mediocre life, when all the while, there is something deep inside of you that amidst all the chaos whispers in your ear, “You were meant for so much more.” And everyone (nearly the whole world) is a part of this conspiracy to hold you back and keep you down. Nonetheless,

You Are Meant for So Much More

Your journey to achieve your highest and best starts now, with the realization that you were meant for more and there is far more going on, here, than you were ever allowed to conceive of.

No one can tell you what is really going on or what lies in store for you. This is your journey, and your journey alone. It is up to you to start looking around, and as you start to relieve yourself from the mental and spiritual restraints which have shackled you until now and begin to see things as they really are.

Top Secret

As you go about your process of growth and expansion, learning and unlearning to broaden your horizons, freeing yourself from the chains that bind you, its best to do so in a stealthy manner.

As you start to see things as they really are, you may feel compelled to shout about your new realizations from the rooftops. Not a good idea. Why? Because the defenders of “the system” have been trained to listen for such radical proclamations, and the system has methods in place for seeking out rebels like you at the first indication that you might be veering away from the fold, and reeling you back in.

Their methods have been contrived and honed over the years and they are far more effective today than ever. They will use your family, friends, loved ones, teachers, mentors, religious leaders, health care professionals, bosses, politicians, law enforcement, anyone and everyone at every level to help return you to your regular station in the system.

Why?

Because you could potentially put their system at risk, a system which they profit wildly from. If you are allowed to continue to awaken and evolve, it could lead to the awakening of others.

Their “system” is unsustainable in a world of awakened and evolved human beings.

A new world is evolving, and you (and others, like you) are evolving with it. This archaic barbarian world of being controlled and serving the few who feel entitled to lord over you (all of us) is coming to an end.

If your destiny includes being a warrior for the warrior, boldly confronting the powers that be may be a part of your calling. If you are prone to conflict and warring against the machine and that resonates with your awakening process, then God bless you as you fight the battle.

If your function is anything but a warrior, then you are better off not wasting your efforts focusing on the things that do not serve your growth and expansion. Focus instead on those things that lead to your further metamorphosis and avoid anything that might hinder your progress, while keeping it on the down-low.

You might find that tolerance and the truth continuum to be concepts that will help you embrace your continued transformation.

However you do it, find your own way to keep on keeping on, and offering your gifts and abilities to others who need you and what you have to offer.

This is you living a better life, your best life, and making the world a better place.

God bless you on your pursuit to your highest and best.

Challenges Choices and Consequences

If you take a look around you, at the life you’re living, this is of your making. You have perfectly designed the life you live every day, as it is the result of your challenges, choices, and consequences.

If you are not liking your life so much, then all you have to do is change it. You. I know, you can find 100 other people, circumstances, or things to blame, but the truth is, you’ve allowed all those things to be present and have power over you.

Nothing can have power over you unless you allow it because you are a mighty child of God, with all the rights of sacred royalty bestowed upon you, all yours for the asking, but you continue to play small. You think of yourself as a victim of life, when all the while you are the child of the Creator. What if you create your world?

As a child of the Creator, you have all the power to create anything you want. Your world, the world you step into every day is of your design. You have chosen the geographic location of your life. You have orchestrated all the players, invited them to play in your world, and have settled into the character you play.

In this role that you have set up for yourself, you face certain challenges and make decisions based on your character’s profile. You enjoy the results of the choices your character makes, or suffer the consequences, and this is all the result of you, and the part you chose to play in your terrestrial play. Your life is the result of the choices you make.

As the playwright of your life, you can choose a new life, rewrite your part completely, if you so choose. You can change the set, the geographic location, and all the players to better suit the life you’d like to live.

Will it be perfect? It depends on what your definition of perfect is. To me, the perfect life is not too safe or stagnant. It comes with plenty of opportunities for growth and expansion (challenges), for myself, and the other players in my world. I want to experience the full spectrum of what this life has to offer.

What’s in your movie?

Every now and then, you need to make adjustments to your story and the cast. Some cast members which you had faith in to play out their roles provided lackluster performances. Just like in any long-lasting teleplay, sometimes you have to change the cast up a bit to breathe new life into the property.

Ask yourself, is it time to sit back and review a vulnerable and honest director’s cut of your project?

You will know when it’s time to change it up, and if you’re not paying attention, your viewers and sponsors will let you know. They will either start complaining or start pulling away taking their resources with them.

“Fine,” you might say, “Who needs them,” because you’re committed to your project the way it is. Another challenge, followed by your choice, which may come with consequences.

Sometimes, you’re so focused on the details of your life, the interaction with the cast and crew, all the necessary details, lighting, locations, props, and shots, that you forget to take a look at your project from the lot, or better yet, an aerial view.

Getting a different perspective of your project from another point of view, reviewing the stats, reading the reviews, getting input from outside sources about your project, maybe even considering new sources of funding, could set your project on an award-winning trajectory.

It’s amazing what little adjustments can be made which can change everything drastically. A one or two percent change in straight-line trajectory from Seattle’s airport will result in landing in either New York or Orlando. That’s a huge change from a small adjustment.

When you make adjustments, some will be small and less significant, while others may include a total re-write and all new characters. And the time may come when you walk away from a project altogether because it does not serve you. This may be the case if you’ve allowed yourself to play small in someone else’s project.

I know what it feels like to have your character overwhelmed with thoughts, like, “My life has been so awful,” when you think, “Things couldn’t get worse,” then they do. When you’ve lost all hope and nothing seems to go right.

You know what if feels like to face insurmountable odds, to feel like you just can’t take one more

No one is more keenly qualified to step into your role as the sacred director of your own life. Make yours the best story ever.

If stepping directly into the director’s seat is too much to ask, then maybe just reviewing your life as a 2-hour YouTube video might be a good start. You might discover that you are the reluctant hero in your story.

If you need a hand, we are here for you.

Challenges, choices, and consequences? Your life is the result of the choices, challenges, and changes that you make.

Start making changes.

You got this.

Resistance Amidst Change

When you get going on your mission of transformation and growing expect some resistance to start showing up as you as you start forging your fresh trail to your new life. Be prepared to expect resistance amidst change which will present challenges and vow to face them head-on when they appear before you.

There’s going to be a bit of struggle which takes place inside you, between the you which has always been basically in charge of running your life until now, and the new you which is trying to come forth and express itself as the new improved version of yourself as it is growing and expanding.

If that wasn’t enough, it’s like the whole universe wants to participate in the transitional metamorphosis offering you opportunities and challenges to test you; to see if this is a good decision for you at this time in your life.

Your old like will be beckoning you not to change and to return to the comfort and security of your old life. When you’re thinking about moving on, opportunities will arise for you to fall back into the same ol’ same ol’.

The friends who haven’t contacted you for years will start calling on you to celebrate your old lifestyle. The higher-ups at your crummy job will offer you opportunities for advancement and attractive compensation packages. You will second-guess and wonder if it’s such a good idea to stick around or to take such a huge step in moving on from your old life.

Fear of the unknown can be an overwhelming deterrent to moving on with your life, as there is a certain degree of comfort in remaining where you are. It may not be great, but it is what you know. You may have spent a great deal of time and effort building your life-nest around you. While life is not the best it could be, you’ve successfully carved out a very special place for you, one that others may even envy. How could you leave all this behind? What if you’re unable to do better on the other side?

You can reduce some of the friction by keeping your thoughts about your decision to move on from your old life to yourself. While in many of life’s decisions the counsel of many brings safety, remember that safety represents your old life. Counselors will emerge from the old wood of your life who will caution you against change, especially any radical change. The people who represent your old life will do almost anything to prevent you from leaving. They will use guilt, blame, indebtedness, obligation, what is “right” and what is “wrong,” anything they can come up with, to persuade you to stay behind.

It is still a good idea to garner support and counsel amidst your transition, just be careful about those whom you trust with the intimate details of your metamorphosis. Be certain they have your best interest at heart.

If you are aware that these tendencies are common occurrences when tackling change, you can strengthen your resolve and stay the course when awakening to your new perspective and taking the steps necessary to carve out a new life, free from the struggle for survival. For on the other side of this bit of chaos, there is a much better life waiting for you.

Be willing to step out into new directions. If you’re more comfortable doing one thing, try to accept more invitations to do something less comfortable. Doing things differently will bring you new opportunities, and the best, most exciting things are waiting for you just on the other side of your comfort zone.

When you ask, it is given.

Everything you want is created and waiting for you. In most cases, it will not simply fall out of the sky and drop into your lap on command (though this has been known to happen). It’s up to you to place yourself in the time and place where what you want is waiting for you.

Turn Over a New Leaf

So, you’ve taken a look at your life until now, and after a brief review, you come to the conclusion that you’re ready to turn over a new leaf. Looking back, you realize there were a great many things you could have done better, and that your life would be far more miraculous if you start living your life in a better way. Now’s as good a time as any to make the changes necessary for you to turn over a new leaf.

The two keys to successfully turning over a new leaf are taking inspired action and to keep moving ahead to get to the new-improved you and the vastly better life which is waiting for you and may very well be the keys to begin to achieve your highest and best potential.

Inspired Action

While the idea of inspired action seems simple enough, it encompasses a great many sacred components which will empower your ability to change your life miraculously. We all know the idea of cause and effect which supports the idea that any action will cause a resulting reaction which changes your life. You can easily look back at your life and see this is true.

Instead of taking action, which will change your life, taking inspired action will always change your life for the better.

Keep in mind that change can be messy, and sometimes to make a change you may have to experience some discomfort to get you to the right place and time to move in a decidedly different direction. It can be awkward and painful, but if the action you’re taking is inspired, you will find yourself in a far better position to move forward to the life you both want and deserve.

Inspired action should be taken without negative motivation. If you are taking action in anger or to get revenge, there is no chance of it being inspired. Rethink your underlying motive before making any major changes.

Inspired action is not taken due to lack, need to change, or have what you don’t already possess. Inspired action comes with a sense of excitement without expectations attached to it. Inspired action is not about trying to make something happen, more it is about creating new opportunities for new things to unfold before your very eyes.

Inspired action takes courage but is not fear-based action, though there may (and probably should be) some trepidation or fear about taking a huge step outside your comfort zone. As with all huge advances in personal growth and change, there is going to be some fear of the unknown. But as any of us, or even you, can attest, all the biggest and best advances in life come from stepping out in faith.

The potential for miraculous results grows exponentially the further away from your safety zone you veer. God and all the potentialities of love’s pure energy go to work to vector-in a whole new variety of supporting energies and players to support your stepping out in faith, as you in effect leave the old hood and make new friends.

Keep Moving

Once you’ve taken a step in faith, no matter how great or minuscule, the key is to keep going. Keep taking additional steps toward your something new, and something new, exciting and unimaginable begins to unfold before your very eyes.

Failing to continue to move will leads to complacency and stagnation, then “home” the place you’ve taken inspired action to move on from begins to look like someplace you might like to return to.

If you do fall back into the same ol’ same ol’ know that the opportunity for you to turn over a new leaf never goes away. Maybe now, is not the time for you. Try again when you are inspired to try something new.

Changing Bad Habits into Good Ones

So, you’ve got some bad habits, who doesn’t? Sure, you could just quit cold turkey that works one out of ten times, or you could try changing bad habits into good ones which is much more effective and long-lasting.

changing bad habits into good ones

Changing bad habits into good ones will help to keep you from backsliding into old behavior patterns which link you to those destructive activities that are not helping you to become the better person you want to be.

Old or bad habits can throw a wrench in your intention to step fully into your new and improved life and can keep you anchored in the old life of your past.

There are many methods of letting go of those activities and actions which connect you to the “old you” which can take a lot of research, delving into your past to find the root cause of what triggers the behavior, which is part of the deep inner work which you will probably want to do at some point.

Even so, if there is a habit you’d like to let go of in the meantime, you could just consider changing a bad habit into a good one.

Before you start changing your bad habit into a good one, review the habit you’d like to change out. Ask yourself why you want to stop doing this thing (whatever it is) and make a list of all the reasons you can come up with.

The more reasons you can come up with, about how this bad habit affects your life, and the lives of those around you, the better.

Now, you can’t just look at the downside, because you wouldn’t be doing this thing if you didn’t receive some benefit from it. So, next up, make a list of the why you like to participate in this habit. What do you get out of it?

Make a list of all the benefits you receive for yourself every time you do it.

Maybe it makes you feel better, or maybe you have just done it for so long its pure automatic response, with little benefit, but it would seem weird not to do it.

Here’s the tricky part but it’s also the most fun. Imagine yourself about to engage in your bad habit. What could you do instead in that moment? What, when you are triggered to do that thing, which you’d rather not do, could you do instead that would be far better for you and/or others?

Try not to limit yourself to just one thing, come up with as many as you can, then pick the best one.

Establish yourself as not having that old habit anymore by using your voice, first to yourself in the mirror, then out loud to others. Like, “I don’t smoke anymore.” This is the statement for the new you, “I don’t smoke.” (Replace “smoke” with whatever the bad habit is.)

Take time to see yourself in your mind’s eye as this new person who does this. See how it affects your life and those around you. Using your imagination, visualize all the positive benefits that come from your engaging in the new, good habit.

You don’t have to say what you’ve chosen to do instead of your old habit, show it by example. The next time you feel like participating in that old habit, do the new thing. Use the very same trigger to do something good for yourself or others.

Instead of doing whatever it is, give someone a compliment, eat a healthy snack, fix your hair, call a friend, do a good deed for someone else, look into a pocket mirror and tell yourself how much you love yourself, write something positive in your journal, grab the nearest book and randomly open it reading the first paragraph that piques your interest, make a paper airplane then write something encouraging on it and throw it out the window. Whatever it is, do that thing.

This is part of your new identity. Instead of doing that old thing, now you do this new thing that is more in-line with your goals and helping to make the world a better place.

As you get accustomed to doing better things by changing bad habits into good ones, you don’t have to do just the one replacement, you can just pick from a variety of good things to do instead.

There is no judgment here for you, and there must be none there for you. If you falter and fall back into your old habit do not beat yourself up. You are not a bad person, you are not broken, there is nothing wrong with you.

Love yourself.

Jot it down on your calendar. Tomorrow is another day. Make it through that day, no matter what. While changing bad habits into good ones can lead to lasting instantaneous change, sometimes it takes time. If so, there is nothing wrong with that.

If you’ve been jotting your progress on your calendar, you will notice the number of days of the new habit being exercised growing between the old one showing up. Before you know it, the old habit will be long gone. Just keep going and growing.

This is growth and change, and only you could have accomplished such a feat.

Everything is Going Wrong in My Life

Ever look around and think, “Everything is going wrong in my life?” You review your life and no matter how positive you would like to be, you just can’t find anything to feel good about. Your doctor might diagnose you as having depression, possibly even write you a prescription to make you feel better.

Your doctor might encourage you to seek out a coach, counselor, or consultant, but you can’t even see what the point would be. Why would you want to sit and listen to someone who would want to spin BS at you, when you know there’s not one good thing in your life.

Left to your own devices you might think about checking out altogether. Instead of wondering why do people commit suicide? You’re more likely to ask, “Why not?” I mean, what’s the point?

There is no doubt, this life can throw so many zingers at you that it can be overwhelming and appear to be too much for any reasonable person to handle.

Before you go off the deep end, here’s a little somethin-somethin’ for you to consider.

Just for fun, using your imagination, let’s pretend one day you get to be an infinite being living outside the timeline where we live in the 3-D and you have the ability to travel along the timeline invisibly.

There are people that you cared about in the past who could have had an enormously better life but weren’t able to because they missed all the opportunities they had by never being in the right place at the right time. What if you could help them?

What if you could go back in time and help them (even if you were invisible and they couldn’t hear or see you)? But, you could sort of affect the world around them with the hope of being able to steer them in the right direction, so they could have a massively successful and happy life.

Like, if your son or daughter was stuck in a rut, and if you could just get them out of their life circumstance into a new place, where he or she had better resources and options, they would have unlimited potential. You might trip them up and throw up lots of roadblocks in an attempt to break them out of the life he or she was stuck in an attempt to move them away from a life that is leading nowhere.

The more they resisted moving and were intent on staying where they were, you might turn up the heat and allow them to walk into situations which would be harder and harder to handle. You’d be scratching your head and thinking, “What do I have to do to get through to you?”

You love your son or daughter and don’t want to see he or she suffer. You know that how the story ends if left to his or her own devices, you just want them to get out of the whirlpool that’s dragging them down, but he or she is so stubborn.

How might you feel?

Could you consider that God, your angels, your guardian angel, a loved one who has passed to the other side, your higher self, or maybe you from the future after passing-on or via the use of a time machine is doing the same thing?

Just “What if,” that one for a minute…

What if all you had to do was to change your life in some which would open up a whole new world of possibilities to you? Ask yourself, “what if the reason everything is going wrong in my life is me?” What if your resistance to try something completely different is keeping you from living a better life. Maybe that one (potentially scary) change could change your whole life for generations into the future.

You and your family could live your best lives, and make the world a better place, just because you had the courage to heed the signs that what you’re doing is not working and make a change.

What if you are in the driver’s seat of your life, with all the control, but are refusing to turn off the road your on, when the signs are indicating you need to take another route?

Maybe it’s not time to give up. Maybe a lot of effort is being exerted from outside yourself and beyond to get you to change your destination.

Consider this, if only for a moment.

What if you create your world… every detail of it?

There is a force far more powerful than you which wants you to have all the best things this life had to offer.

Your life is not in shambles, it is not a disaster, though it may look and feel that way. Your life is begging you to make a change a big change.

You are being called to achieve your highest and best, and it is clearly not available to you here, where you are right now.

Will, you answer the call and take a different approach changing your life forever?

A higher power has your back.

I Want My Life to Have Meaning

There comes a time in your life when you look back at your life and you think, “I want my life to have meaning,” with an inkling to want to have made a difference, to desire to know that after living your life you will have made a contribution, leaving behind some proof of your existence.

This is the still small voice inside your heart reaching out to you. It has been all but silenced by all the trying to find a place to survive in this life without being a total outsider.

You learn not to listen to your heart as it is overpowered by the thoughts and voices of everyone else, your family, friends, teachers, authority figures, mentors, and the constant barrage of the media, telling you who and what you should be.

Then, when you experience a moment of silence in your life, you hear your heart’s voice utter, “I want my life to mean something,” and in that moment you want your life to have meaning.

What does, “I want my life to have meaning,” mean?

It means you are awakening to the idea that your life has a divine purpose, message, passion, and mission (PMPM) and it’s so true. You came to this earth to make a contribution, to make a difference, but society has squelched the greater part of you as you remained small in an effort to not make waves or upset the social landscape too much.

You instinctual spark to make a difference, live a better life, your best life, and make the world a better place, was probably quickly silenced by your negative self-talk, or brushing the idea aside as you resigned to live a life in an effort to just get by.

This time, before you push the idea out of your head, take time to sit back and imagine what your life could look like if you hadn’t been born into the family, raised in the town, trained in the schools, faced the challenges, suffered the tragedies, lived the life you have lived ‘til now.

What could your life look like if you could have it any way you wanted it?

You get accustomed to seeing your life as just the way it is, but you can change your life dramatically any time you want. You don’t have to work at the same job, live in the same place, or even be the same person you have trained yourself to accept as your life.

Dare to visualize what your life would be like if you put yourself in the driver’s seat of your life.

It’s never too late for you to change your life, if there is still life in you to be lived.

What would your new life look like? Where would you live, if you could live anywhere? What would you do, if you could do anything you wanted? Who would your friends be? How would you spend the free time in your life, if you had it? What would you like to change about the world?

Getting a grasp of what your life could be like, what meaning and impact your life could have, will empower you to not only see the unlimited possibilities which lay before you but enable you to take inspired action toward making your personal vision a reality.

If every day you ask yourself, “What step(s) could I take today that will bring me that much closer to the life I want?” will reveal to your conscious mind things that you could do, even the smallest of steps move you closer to where you want to be.

Writing them down, so that you can review and refine them later can turn these ideas into goals. A conscious written goal can easily be achieved if you keep bringing it to your awareness. Soon a path, a map, will emerge, and you will see yourself using these as stepping stones leading to your new life of meaning and purpose.

Congratulations. You’ve taken the first step.

Hold your head up high and keep moving away from that part of your life which represents the prison you’ve succumbed to in the past.

You’ve taken the first step toward achieving your highest and best.

An amazing and meaningful life awaits you.
