The Dream Slapdown

So, you’re expressing your concerns about being dissatisfied with life as it is, and you’ve got an idea. An idea which feel like so much potential is out there waiting for you, if you could just go forward in this moment of inspiration, the world could be yours for the having. Then, the dream slapdown!  Someone you admire, who is a self-proclaimed expert, offers cautionary advice to break the trance of your forbidden exercise in entertaining false hopes and dreams.

“Who do you think you are? You don’t have the pedigree. You’re not a Bezos, Gates, Musk, or Zuckerberg. You cannot possibly cross the threshold. You didn’t go to some Ivy League school, like Harvard or Stanford. You’re not entitled. You are nothing but a worker bee. The best you could hope for is to get a college degree so you can make a few extra bucks than some other poor sap.”

Like a slap upside the head, you think, “Oh, yeah, what was I thinking?” as you settle back into your mundane life as one of the ninety-nine percent of workers who feel emotionally disconnected from the performance of their function in life. You rejoin the ranks of those whose dreams fade to black as they move through life unconsciously.

From this perspective, there is very little upside and trying to make it from where you are to where you might like to be in those brief moments when you allow yourself to imagine how good life could be? It is utterly impossible to make such a leap. The roadblocks are tremendous and impermeable.

It’s an uphill battle at best, and you simply do not have the resources necessary to take on such an adventure which you will ultimately fail at and stand embarrassed before your peers who will taunt you with relentless, I-told-you-sos.  So, why even try.

Those of us who work so hard to get ahead? We work our selves down to nothing, and for what, a meager bit more than our neighbor? And at what cost?

What if you fall victim to the keeping up with the Joneses wheel of misfortune? Well, at least there’s repose in the idea that you can file bankruptcy every few years, then start the cycle all over again.

Is it possible to break the cycle of being a slave to the media and money moguls? Yes.

In order to do so, you’re going to have to decide to change your life drastically and get as far away from the rut of slavery as possible to prevent your falling back into it.

You will need capital, a decisive sense of purpose, and energetic power to move you from where you are to where you want to be.

Capital: You will need to spend less money than you earn, so that you have something (albeit, it doesn’t have to be much, but you must have something to start).

Purpose: Connecting your project with your heart, making it something meaningful, doing what you love, and having a sense of doing something that makes a contribution will help sustain your commitment to follow through when the going gets rough (and it will).

Energetic Power: Energetic power comes in many forms from the people we associate with and the financial resources we are able to direct (whether ours or someone else’s) to meditation/prayer, and a personal presence which has the ability to sway the attention and focus of others.

Why Do You Get More of What You Don’t Want?

Why is it that when you really don’t want something, it seems like you get more of what you don’t want? You don’t want overdue bills, driving around crazy drivers in traffic, being late for school or work, to lose track of your words mid-sentence, forget where you put something like your cell phone or car keys, or God forbid, get into a romantic relationship with a person just like the last one, or worse. Yet here they are.

Why do you get more of what you don’t want?

Here’s the deal, there is far more to you than meets the eye. Sure, you may have your life under control, and you’re able to help others keep their lives orderly, but why is it that your life seems to be increasingly problematic, when you know better?

Because you’re not just a biological machine, an animated bag of meat with a brain. You are also an energetic powerhouse and spiritual being as well. As much as you might like to deny it, this is true, and both of these parts of you are looking out for your highest good, while society and your support system may not be looking out for your best interests.

The Energetic You

The energetic part of you is responsible for attracting to you the things you think about. Like a magnet, this energy draws in what you think and speak about and doesn’t care whether you like it or not. The more powerfully you think about a thing, the more often it shows up.

So, if you’re thinking of something with a lot of emotion attached to it, you will see more of that thing showing up in your life more often and with more intensity. If you really want more of what you don’t want, simply think about what you don’t want and it will come to you.

Want even more of what you don’t want? Then actually talk about what you don’t want. If you want even more, then increase the emotion you have about it, and begin talking about it with negative emotional energy, and try starting off your topic with, “I hate…” and end your sentences with an exclamation point. Now, watch it roll in even more!

Once you understand how this, you can find ways to adjust your thought process to affect your personal energy field. You can not only start managing your negative thoughts and emotions, but you can start to think and speak in more positive ways about the things you really want to see showing up in your life.

This will attract more of the things you want in your life. This is called manifestation in the Law of Attraction 101.

The Spiritual You

Then there is that spiritual being, which you also are. It works a little differently, and it a lot more sophisticated in how it works than your energetic being.

The greater part of you vibrates at the highest of energetic frequencies, knows only love, and is only concerned about what is best for you. It sees all, knows all, and can summon all the powers seen and unseen to see that you are served up only those things in life which will lead to your highest and best.

The thing, here, is that you and your higher self are not always in agreement as to what would best serve you. While you are easily overwhelmed by the details of life, not unlike being lost in the forest, the greater part of you has an aerial view and can see everything around you. Which direction you are headed, the terrain ahead of you, and the footsteps you’ve left behind.

Since you cannot see the forest for the trees, without a compass you may be walking in circles through your life or may actually be going in the wrong direction. Each step moving you further and further away from where you want to be.

Your higher self can come to the rescue, setting up circumstances, which may appear to be tragic and traumatic, calling in your angels and guides if necessary, to get you back on track, moving in the direction of what you really want in life.

This is why bad things happen to good people because it takes that kind of tragic circumstance to wake us up out of the trance of life and begin to see things as they really are. The most traumatic experiences in life often lead to our awakening. And for those of us who are the most resistant to the awakening, we may have to suffer more than others.

When bad things happen to you, it is serving your higher purpose. It may be hard to imagine when you’re in the thick of it, but it’s true, and you’ll be able to see it more clearly once you are on the other side of it.

Your Social Support System

It’s so easy to get distracted and derailed, even totally lost, when you are desiring a better life, and your friends and family are not as concerned about your well-being as you might think. Granted, they don’t want to see you suffer (too much) and they want you to have good things in your life… Only, not better than the life that they are experiencing.

Of course, this underlying energy is not spoken of outwardly, unfortunately, for the most part, the people you care about want to see you have a better life for sure, just not better than theirs. Why? Because they are seeing your intention to move your life from mediocrity to magnificence. An idea that may have crossed their minds earlier in life, only they gave it up for folly, as most people are likely to do.

If you were to succeed, what message would that send to them?

They might think they had utterly failed in their life, failed their family and friends, and above all, failed to their true selves, and ultimately God. This is a process of thinking that no one would like to entertain. So, better to talk you out of it or even help you fail a little bit, than you have to endure the trauma of having to deal with the decisions they made to settle for a “safe and sane” lackluster life. It’s just too much to have to face for the average person.

Often it is a good idea to find support from like-minded people who desire to see you rise to the heights of your highest and best and encouraging you to grow and change, as necessary, to traverse from where you are and transform into the better you which is waiting for you fully embrace all that you can be.

There are many reasons for tragedy to visit the lives of those who are lost, all of them for your highest and best. The more you understand and embrace this idea, loving all the life you are presented with and in a sense going with the flow, the far easy it will be to adjust and adapt to the changes, allowing you to more easily be in the right place at the right time, moving you more swiftly to that which is your highest and best.

You Are Called No Lies

There are two versions of yourself trying to express themselves in your world today. Most of us are allowing the pre-programmed slave of the flesh to dominate our existence. That’s not to say that you’re expressing yourself as a bad person, just that you’re more yielded to the social programming you’ve been subjected to ever since you took your first breath.

The other part of you which remains hidden for the most part is that highly sacred part of yourself that has come to this planet to express itself fully, adding value, sharing and caring for others in expansive growth and change, ushering in increased human performance and evolution.

This higher part of you is the only thing that frightens the powers which seek to control and profit from all the peoples of this world. These are the social engineers who will stop at nothing to get people to believe that we are destined to just play our part in the societies which they have created for us.

They taught your parents how to think, what to believe, and their parents before them, going back countless numbers of generations, to the beginning of humanity.

But the times are a changing, and you are becoming aware of your higher self as he or she longs to be revealed and expressed in all its divinity, which is your purpose in this life, if you let this part of you come forth, answering the call of love.

Recognizing the difference between these two parts of you, you can begin to hear the distinctions which separate the inner voices you hear within. Depending on where you are in your growth and awakening, the pre-programmed inner voice which does not serve your higher purpose dominates because this is the default setting for most humans.

Your higher self will be encouraging you, even daring you to grow and change, while your programmed mind will be giving you every excuse to stay just the way you are and do not aspire toward anything above the status quo.

When your inner voice starts barking limiting excuses, stop listening to them, and start listening to what your heart has to say instead. Stop believing any of the following lies…

You can’t do this.

You can, but your critical inner voice will tell you it’s too hard, or if you try to do something different, it will never last. You’ll just revert to your former self. Maybe someone else did it, but they were luckier than you, or more entitled in some way. You will hear the myriad of excuses about why you are not good enough to see this through. You’re not thin enough, good-looking enough, don’t have appropriate apparel or an adequate car. Your house is not nice enough. You don’t belong to the Country Club, don’t have the right friends, proper pedigree, or education.

All lies, because if you look around, you will find people who are or were far worse off than you would ever think of being who persevered, pushed through and accomplished so much for themselves, their families, and helped to pave the way for others, just like you. That is the truth.

You just want to be comfortable.

Yes, you do deserve to enjoy the comforts of life, unless they are standing between you and your true calling. Let’s face it, it’s much easier kick back on the on the sofa, chill, and watch Netflix than it is to get up, get out, and do something that can impact your life and the lives of others. Who wants to go to the gym and work out, when you can stay at home and relax? Building muscle is not unlike growing outside your comfort zone where al the best things in life are waiting for you. Comfort represents the same ol’ same ol’ which represents mediocrity and complacency for those who are otherwise called to some higher calling.

There must be an easier way.

Growth necessitates change, and change can be uncomfortable. Challenges will abound as you push through to respond to your sacred calling. There will be opposition, and people who you thought had your back may no longer be supportive. There will be times when it’s hard, but there will also be times when answering your call is extremely rewarding, even easy, as your determination to move forward helps enhance your life, affecting the lives of others, and makes the world a better place.

You don’t know what you’re doing.

Okay, any uncharted territory can be scary, when you don’t know exactly what to do or what lies ahead. How many things have you done in your life that you have never done before? If you think about it, your life is full of a succession of firsts, all cumulatively leading to the full life you experience now.

Today you have tools available to you now that you live in the information age. You have access to the tools you need to familiarize yourself with the potential unknown territory, with maps, pictures, video, and lots of data to help you get acclimated to any calling which beckons you forth. There are online recordings, podcasts, vlogs, classes, seminars, summits, and webinars. This puts you miles ahead of generations which went before who were forced to go forth blindly.

Not knowing is not a valid excuse any longer.

You’re not ready, maybe tomorrow.

Procrastination is the thief achieving your highest and best. How can you justify putting off the answering of your sacred call when so much hangs in the balance? Those who are waiting to be introduced to your purpose, message, passion, and mission are neglected or suffering while you put off your taking action, claiming, and stepping into the fullness of your sacred birthright.

Taking that first step leads to taking the next step, even if they’re small steps. Every step is cumulative and brings you closer to the goodness and blessings which is in store for you, others, and the world as you answer the call.

Now is the time to take that step in faith. Don’t let any negative self-talk stand between you and that for which you were created. You are an invaluable part of the coming evolution, and we need you now.

Repurpose Your Life

I know a great many people who repurpose all kinds of things, taking something that would otherwise be thought of as refuse turned into something of function, value, even art. So it is with your life. If your life has been routine, mundane, meaningless, or ready for the trash heap, don’t bail just yet. The time has come for you to repurpose your life.

Often repurposing a thing takes effort and attention. The result is something of value which is worth more than the raw components used to create something new from something old.

There was a time when the trend was to create everything to not last long. You would buy it, then throw it into the trash without a thought of it. This trend has led us to live a disposable lifestyle. To throw out anything which has outlived the short life which it was intended for.

This disposable lifestyle is not only counterproductive, it is destructive and unsustainable.

If you can break your trance long enough to become aware of your surroundings, you will find people who are scouring the Internet, thrift, antique, and pawn shops, eBay and Craig’s List for hidden treasures from the past which can be repaired, reconfigured, or enjoyed in their current state as a cherished, valuable, and functional purpose.

To apply this trend to your life is a thought which is not far off. You can look at your life and think, “My life has no purpose,” or, “I have nothing to offer the world,” then to think of yourself as disposable. Left by yourself in this state of mind, your body will begin to accept this as your reality and you will find yourself in premature deterioration.

Where is the happiness in a life which is not valued? If you’re in a state of self-devaluation, maybe a step outside yourself will help you to see how valuable you really are, and with a little intention, attention, and work, a new you can emerge enabling you to live a better life.

Take a look around. Are you stuck in a rut? Is the work that you do day-in/day-out satisfying? Are you achieving a sense of accomplishment from the life you’re living? Could you be making more of a contribution to someone close to you or, serving the local community?

If you can agree your life can use a little repurposing, you might consider asking yourself,

What changes can you make to live a better life?

Whatever you are doing that drains your energy, or does not resonate with that higher part of yourself and doesn’t make you feel good, stop doing it, and make the changes in your life which would be necessary to replace it with something that makes you feel good about yourself and what you’re doing.

When you’re considering embarking on this journey of repurposing yourself, be mindful of what makes you feel good and do more of that. Ask yourself,

What makes your heart sing?

What are those things which bring you joy? Find ways to integrate more of these into your life.

After you start this process of repurposing your life, you can imagine a renewed sense of purpose, possibly living out your best life, affecting the lives of others and our environment, in effect, making the world a better place.

You Are the Game Changer

You look around and you can see other people living their lives… Some of them are living far better lives than you, and you think to yourself, “I’d like to have a go at a better life.” And almost immediately after you’ve had the thought the negative inner voices begin to sound off and you hear, “But I’m not educated, or good enough to live a better life.”

As if you’ve been led to believe that you are somehow less deserving of living a better life because of your lack of education, your family doesn’t have a high ranking in the community, you’re finding it hard to keep up with the Joneses, or you are so far removed from the Joneses that you can’t even imagine what it might be like to compete with them.

Let me tell you, there are people far worse off than you who have made the leap from the day-in-day-out mediocre rat race life leading nowhere to immensely successful and satisfying life, without a proper education, financial backing, fine upbringing, or any help from someone else.

What separates these people from the masses?

They did something that society hopes you will never do: Awaken. Awaken to the knowledge that this life is a game. It’s been set up by someone else to play you as a pawn in the game of life. You’ve been programmed since birth to believe that you are supposed to just play your part and feel as though doing anything else is impossible for you.

If you’re not feeling like you’re good enough, the creators of the game can sit back in their easy chairs patting themselves of the back for a game well-played, because they’ve built a set of rules for you to play by which state that you are not good enough to be a real player.

It’s All A Game

The truth is, you’ve come to this planet not only to be a player, but to play the game so masterfully that you can create your own game rules and reinvent the game altogether, but you will only have awareness of this gift in those moments of consciousness when you have clarity.

In those moments, you can see that this life is only a game and you are being played by the game players and makers, but it’s not long when your attention is grabbed by the millions of distractors which pull your attention back down into the gameplay.

There are those, and you may be one of them, who are focusing their attention on higher perspectives which gives these particular people the ability to see the gameplay from somewhat of an aerial view. From this vantage point, they can see the game for what it is.

From here, it is easy to see that you are far more than you’ve ever been allowed to think you are. You are perfect in every way. Your life has meaning and purpose. You can have the life and love you’ve always dreamed of.

And all those not-good-enough routines you’ve been running over and over as a result of your social programming are illusions, which you’ve been coerced to believe but have not real substance whatsoever.

You are free, you are powerful, you do not need anything to achieve your highest and best but the love and life that was your birthright. God has given you everything you need to live a better life, your best life, and make the world a better place, but the gamers took it away from you.

Not anymore.

You’re awakening.

You Are the Game Changer

You’re getting ready to play your own game by your own rules.

You have arrived, as if for the first time, and you are alive. More alive than you’ve ever been allowed to think you could be, and you are far better than good enough.

You are a masterful creator getting ready to unleash your message, gifts, special abilities, and launch your mission and pave the way for a better world for all creation.

You are the light in the darkness. And as you shine your light, it will be seen like a lighthouse’s beacon in the night to be seen by others who are also having moments of clarity. Your light will be an inspiration for others, helping them find their way to seeing the game from a higher perspective.

The time for change is now. We are awakening and the world is changing.

The day is coming when the game of life will no longer be played in the way that we know it as being played today. It is unsustainable, and the revolutionary evolution of the new game is taking place right now. You are part of this change.

You are the game changer.

We help people start living the lives they’ve always wanted and start living a better life every day.

17. Little Sense of Personal Value

Maybe it’s time to learn how to deal with breaches of trust, healing from the betrayal(s), and learn to trust again.

20. Distressed by Negative News and Media

The negative news and reporting in the news and media can keep you moderating at lower level vibrational frequencies and helps to keep us as people separated and polarized against each other. There is a better way. You can start by not burying your head in the sand, but by taking control of the news and media which you are exposed to.

Five Years

It took you five years to get to where you are right now. If you look back over the last five years, you can see how everything unfolded to have you arrive where you are today. You may, or may not, have exerted a great amount of planning and effort to come to where you are now, or just let it unfold on its own. Nonetheless, it’s been five years, and here you are.

In just the same way, you could be living a completely different life, the life you’ve always dreamed of, in the next five years, and you can do it yourself. You don’t have to break any laws, compromise your morals, or deceive anyone in order to live the life you’ve dreamed of.

I’ve known of and helped many people do just that, create the life of their dreams with extremely humble beginnings (some the humblest imaginable) and all it takes is creating a vision and mapping a path from here to there, with a little movement along the path every day, you will arrive at your destination.

Now, making a commitment for five years might sound like a long time at the outset, but think about the other commitments you make for five years, like for school, relationships, buying a car, or leasing an apartment. We all make five-year commitments to all kinds of things, why not something that can dramatically change your life for the better?

It may take a year, or ten years to get there, but you can do it if you do a little something-something every day to move you closer to your best life ever.

The basic process is simple enough, first to visualize your life in five years, then to break the progress necessary into chunks of manageable size to get you from here to there.

This works for anyone, unemployed, underemployed, over-employed, artists, inventors, novelists, organizations and businesses, no matter where you are or what stage of life you are at in this moment.

To visualize all you need is a good imagination and a way to document the results. Close your eyes, and see in your mind’s eye the life that you want in five years, with as much detail as possible. Use all five senses and write it down while being very descriptive. The more detail, the better.

Next up, develop your map. Start from where you are by evaluating all the resources you have available at present, in essence, packing your bags for the journey, and it will be a journey, not a vacation.

A vacation, you start and it is paid for and budgeted (normally) in advance. A journey, on the other hand, you embark upon with what you have, and you pay for it, and make adjustments, as you go along the way.

No journey is ever taken without starting or taking the first step followed by many successive steps.

By reducing your journey into sections, it allows you to stop and reevaluate your progress along the way. Think of these as landmarks. It’s like charting a nationwide trek with key points or destinations to acknowledge along the way. You might stop at the Grand Canyon along the way, only for you, your Grand Canyon might be buying a house, horse, or bus to rent or building a website, investing in a certain amount of stock, or bitcoin, etc..

Whatever it is, you have these milestones, or goals marked out on your map in succession, so that your five-year plan will have you at your Grand Canyon at the specified time, say in six months. If you’ve accomplished your goal, you can feel rest assured you are well on your way and your map is accurate.

If you’ve made it to the Grand Canyon ahead of schedule, then you might want to revise your map, or at least the timeline, because if you keep it up, it looks like you’ll be living the life of your dreams a lot sooner than you expected.

If the date has come for you to be at the Grand Canyon and you can see that it is still a way off, then this is an indication you need to revisit your method(s) of progress. You may well be moving toward your goal a little every day, but it might be time to step up your pace or to readjust your expectations.

In any case, your best life, the life you could have only imagined before, is waiting for you only five years away, maybe sooner.

5 Steps Toward a Better LIfe

“I can’t seem to get in the groove for a better life.”

You know you want a better life, but you just can’t seem to gain enough momentum to make any significant progress, creating separation from your old life.

We all know, that you can’t expect change to come if you’re stuck in a rut and continue to do the same ol’ same ol’. So, here are some changes you can make to start rocking your new life.

1. Unplug

If you’re plugged into media streams via television, radio, or any other of the available media streams or devices, turn them off, or unplug them all together. Nothing will suck the potential new life from you and drag you back down to lower vibrations than feeding through the media IV.

And it’s not just the Constant Negative News (CNN), this includes sitcoms, late night TV, Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat… all of it. Not only do these distract you from achieving your highest and best, they create an incredible loss of time. Time which could be better spent doing anything else. Time which can never be recovered.

“But,” you interject, “Facebook,” or any other interactive media stream, “is a part of my,” (insert somewhat valid excuse) business promotional campaign, ministry, or how I stay connected to my family, etc. Okay, if you must stay connected, then do the responsible thing, monitor and meter your access. Limit yourself to 30 minutes a day.

Use all that extra time to work toward expanding the new you, creating your better life, or make the world a better place, in the real world.

2. Talk to You

When you’re on the path to a better life, chances are your negative self-talk will rear its ugly head in an attempt to dissuade you from changing your life.

You need to not let yourself get distracted by those critical inner voices from your dark past trying to drag you down with claims of your unworthiness, or taunting you, making fun of you, saying you’re not good enough, or are destined to fail, so why even try.

These inner victims have done a good job keep you stuck where you are in life. If you’re going to break free, all you need to do is correct the voice when it pops up. If it says, “You’re not educated enough,” then stop, correct it (do it out loud, if it’s not too embarrassing) by stating a positive reframing of it, like, “Lots of rich, famous, and influential people who have changed the world were not educated,” or some other positive statement and repeat it three times.

If you keep it up, you will find your inner voice begin to not only silence but start to encourage you to move forward. This is when you know you’re making positive progress.

3. People Up

What kind of people are you hanging out with?

There’s a strong connection between the folks you hang out with and where you are in your station in life.

In fact, it’s the number one reason why some people will never be able to exit a life of crime and will always be in trouble with the law because it’s a lifestyle, their family and friends are all in the same “line of work.”

If a criminal really wants to no longer live a life of crime, they need to get away from the hood and make new friends.

From an income point of view, it is said your income level and life view will be roughly equivalent to the five people you spend the most time commiserating with. So, who are they? What kind of life are they leading or promoting?

Do you have energy vampires, who suck the life (and possibly the resources) out of you, leaving nothing for you to focus on making a better life for yourself? Think about give them a less influential station in your social circle, or give them the boot altogether.

Surround yourself with positive, supportive people, who are the kind of people you want to be like. If they’re vibrating at a higher level, your vibration will raise when you’re around them.

Whether conscious or not, these people are shaping your life. If you want to change the shape of your life, changing these five people is a good way to get ‘er done.

4. Do Something

The doers are the people who actually change the world. Rarely does a dreamer make a significant change in society, the world, or their own life by just imagining it, or by repeating positive affirmations. The people who make significant changes in their lives and the world take action. They do something.

You need to do something that is outside of your current routine, that will build up reserves in your new personal escrow account, which will contribute to your new life.

Do something every day. It doesn’t have to be huge, and it will have an accumulative effect on your new life.

5. Heart On

Get to know who you are at your core, as a person, as an extension of all there is in life. Your heart is the central point of your nervous system and has powers you can only imagine.

For men, getting in touch with your gut – your gut feelings – is all about knowing who you are and staying congruent with your true identity, the person you were always meant to be. That person is waiting to come to life, and it’s up to you to let it loose.

For women, it’s your heart, which speaks for itself. You know when something is right or wrong by the feeling in your chest. This is your heart, looking after you, guiding you, even though you may not pay attention to it much, now is the time to start living by your heart.

No matter where it’s felt, in the gut or in the chest, it’s all about the heart baby, and love is the conduit that powers it and ties us all – all things – together.

Get your heart on, start living a life of love for a better life, a better world and a better tomorrow.

Put a Little Meaning in Your Life

Was today pretty much the same as yesterday, the day before that, the week before, the month, the year? It seems like the same ol’ same ol’, merely maintaining a level of existence but not having much to show for it; nothing lasting or meaningful.

We do what we have to do, to pay the bills, come home, turn in the TV and collapse into the white zone of awareness (basically awake, but unaware of life as it goes on around you), maybe turning our attention to our inter-connected devices designed to keep our minds busy enough not to notice, occasionally interrupted by brief opportunities to socialize face-to-face, or frolic to break up the monotony of it all.

All you have to look forward to are the holiday celebrations, get-togethers with family and friends, and yearly vacations (if that), but still it leaves you wondering if this is what life’s all about?

Well, there are a few things you could do to raise your awareness and broaden your horizons, self-education is hugely beneficial in expanding your imagination and realizing that you may be surrounded by a sea of possibilities and opportunities to look at things in different ways or realize that other lives are yours for the taking.

Something inside you longs for growth and expansion and a bit of learning goes a long way. Your ability to be creative or potentially empowering your personal genius reduces the more you settle for a more mundane lifestyle. Cracking a book, doing some research, attending a class, or seminar helps to feed your mind’s desire to get more out of this life.

Find opportunities to expand your being by engaging in activities and trying new experiences, things you have never done before. This empowers your creative genius and takes you to a whole new area of human existence, your immune system gets ramped up, moodiness or ill feelings fade away as you feel new life pumping through your veins, and your whole biological system thrives while you’re experiencing something new, and its effects remain for 8 hours or more.

Look for ways to switch up old routines, do things differently (if you’re right-handed, try it with your left hand, take the scenic route, etc.), take up a new hobby, volunteer, or take up a new language.

The most amazing people living the most incredible lives on our planet are constantly learning and trying new things.

Still looking for meaning? Seek to create more meaningful relationships in your life. These are the people you can love freely and they reciprocate that love as you are able to share your experiences with them. Your joy is their joy, and their joy is yours.

This new, deeper style of friendship goes far beyond the relationships you’ve known in the relationships of family, friends, even romantic interests you may have experienced in the past. In this case, you share a heart-connection, you are connected with an honest openness where there is nothing to hide, as you share more than others could, without judgment or ridicule.

The champions of finding meaning and fulfillment in life are on the lookout for a challenge, which may even light the light of exploration and adventure, going where no man has gone before, while mot being afraid of facing your own Goliath in battle, if necessary.

The element of the intrigue in exploring unknown territory is exhilarating and offers the spice of life. Facing life’s challenges when you’re in the flow and have the synergistic energies of the universe as the wind beneath your wings makes you soar and achieve new heights.

It’s these experiences which create not only meaning but become a part of your legacy, possibly inspiring others to face their fears and excel through adversity for generations.

Getting out of town helps to put it all in perspective, experiencing other cultures and customs frames the canvas of the adventures of your life. You don’t have to go far, but be sure to go. Each time, think about going a little further. You might find yourself enjoying you’re being a world traveler, giving your life even more meaning.

While you’re doing these things, if you’re ready to make an impact and leave your mark, try to make each place you visit, every life you interact with just a little better than it was before you came along… Now, your living making a positive contribution, living your best life and making the world a better place.

Are you up for that?

Find Greater Meaning In Life

It’s easy to go along in life, just going on about conducting the business of day to day life, not cognizant that you are part of an incredible grand scheme and the part you were destined to play, is absent from the performance.

Yet, the part, written especially for you, remains an integral part of the story waiting to be told; a historically significant contribution, without which the performance loses its sheen. It’s true, the show will go on without you, and someone might fill in, in your absence, but it’s just not the same, if the person for whom the part was written, will not play their part.

For the most part, you are not responsible for playing your part, because up ‘til now, you didn’t have any idea that you had a part to play. But, now, as you read these words you feel your calling awakening inside of you, and you have an inkling that there is more to this life, and more and more, you are having the feeling that there is something else that you could be doing.

You spend a third of your life (or more) working, a third of your life (on the good nights) unconscious, and the remaining third of your life trying to find some relaxation, entertainment, or method to pass the time, like watching TV, Netflix, playing interactive video games, engaging in social media, or getting lost amidst the information superhighway; and this is our life. Every day, somewhat similar to the day before ad infinitum.

But wait (you say), I do get a vacation every once and a while to do something else. Right? True, but even those brief sabbaticals don’t seem to offer the satisfaction for the smoldering fire burning within you. These embers, though forgotten and neglected, can never be totally extinguished, because it is the underlying reason behind your birth, the experiences you’ve accumulated ‘til now, and the mission that awaits ahead of you.

There is no fault in not finding the meaning for your life, as society is ill-prepared for handling any number of enthusiastic individuals seeking to fulfill their unique life’s purpose. So, this part of your psyches is muted by exposure to various toxins, pathogens, and social mores.

But every once and a while, an inspired dreamer breaks through the veil and asserts their passionate prose.

You can fan the flames of your inspiration by looking at spending some of that third of your life, when you’re not sleeping or working, engaging in activities that will help you find a deeper meaning in life.

Find a subject that resonates with you, some topic that you find exhilarating, and make yourself an expert on that topic. As you dig deeper and demystify this topic, you will gain a sense of satisfaction in self-exploration. Beyond the satisfaction of learning something new (and not being told how to think about a particular topic from someone else’s point of view), you are exercising your brain in a way that returns it to a more youthful state and you begin to re-engage your sense of wonder. These research activities could include learning new skills, engaging in a new hobby, or pursuing a different career path.

You can apply new relationship strategies and higher degrees of connection and love to your existing support system, while exploring your community, or the community at large, for opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals, like yourself.

While you may spend most of your life trying not to draw attention to yourself (this is usually due to a fear of failure, or lack of self-esteem), maybe now is the time to think about taking on a challenge that will stimulate you and give you an opportunity to exercise your voice of individuality.

Being willing and able to have the courage to take a risk, pays back satisfying rewards for daring to accomplish something that may have intimidated your peers. It is in these moments that we support our inner desire to reach outside of ourselves for something that may not have been otherwise possible.

This creation of opportunities to engage activities beyond what we might consider safe, often leads to supporting the greater good, helping others less fortunate, or inspiring others to reach for higher accomplishment or meaning in life.

Moving outside your comfort zone might even include getting out more, leaving town, and exploring life from different geographical vantage points. Exposing yourself to new experiences, in new places and seeing things from different cultural perspectives can lead to your expansion of consciousness.

Above all, be open, supportive, loving and kind.
